Centura St. Anthony Hospital provides top-notch medical care and treatment, with many patients reporting lifesaving and phenomenal care. The staff, particularly in the Cardiac Surgical ICU and ER, are described as amazing, extraordinary, and going above and beyond to ensure comfort and correctly handle care. They are proactive, dedicated, and take time to fully explain everything, making stressful situations less stressful. The volunteers are also wonderful, super helpful, and friendly. However, experiences can be inconsistent. Some services need work, with specific mention of a not-well-set-up food system where meals can arrive cold due to staffing issues. The cafeteria food is considered not great but not awful. Some receptionist areas, especially outpatient PT, are noted as rude and not friendly or helpful. In one serious instance, an emergency room visit for a stroke was mistakenly dismissed, highlighting a critical lapse in diagnosis. Overall, while the clinical care often ranks with top facilities and the nursing staff is exceptionally caring, the hospital has areas for improvement in certain customer-facing services and diagnostic vigilance.

The nursing staff, in particular nurse Nicki, were professional, hardworking and truly caring during my stay in the cardiac catheterization wing. I really felt that I received the best care possible. 5 stars!
