Starting Strength Denver has very knowledgeable and experienced trainers and excellent facilities. Considering the quality of the on-site coaching, it’s a great value for the money. The program works.

I've been training here for 3 years and have grown leaps and bounds. The progression of strength training plus high quality coaching has helped me surpass many goals I've set for myself. Starting Strength Denver can change your life, give it a try.

Started lifting here in June 2023 with plans to quit after a few months, but I’m hooked. In less than a years time, I’m the strongest I’ve ever been and only getting stronger (in my late 40s no less!). The coaches are fantastic - providing feedback on form, keeping you on the program so you continue to progress. And for my fellow ladies - lifting weights is key to preventing osteoporosis. This is a great place to start - it’s not intimidating, you won’t become a bulky body builder, and you’ll see results you’ve never gotten from a yoga or group fitness class.

I’ve been training at Starting Strength Denver as of November 2023 (4 months). In that time, Jarred has been instrumental to my strength goals and development. The small class sizes are great and you really receive a quality lifting education along the way. I’d highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to build foundational strength and dial in their existing fitness goals.

I've been training here for just under a year, and have loved the experience. The coaches are very attentive and help adjust your programming as you advance so you're always making progress and never stalling out. The small group setting keeps conversation lively between sets, but you'll always have a coach ready to watch your work sets when you need one. The other lifters cheer you on as well; overall just a super supportive and effective program.

The coaching is incredible. Have made more progress in six months here than I did lifting by myself for 5 years. I would recommend that anyone serious about improving their quality of life or getting stronger spend some time here.

I’ve been coming here for almost 2 years now and love it. The coaches are great. They do all of the programming for you and make sure you do all the lifts with good form. If you want to do a weightlifting program then this is the place for you.

I was a stick skinny 2-dimentional person, but in 1 year of coming to Starting Strength I gained 15lbs of muscle and came out 3D. Highly recommend.

I cannot recommend Starting Strength Denver enough. I got far stronger than I thought was achievable. I've lifted in the past but got great coaching from Jared, Jen and Jay. I'd recommend SSD to anyone of any experience or ability looking to get stronger. The coaches will work around any injuries or limitations and modify the workouts so that you get as strong as you possibly can. They are truly experts in a way I haven't found in any gyms or workout settings. The classes are small enough that you basically get personal training but there are also enough people to build a sense of community. SSD has been a huge net positive in my life.

In five months I went from 195-226lbs and got significantly stronger. My coach at the time Jennifer was alright. She gets irritated and acts like it’s the end of the world when you ask questions. Ended up leaving because I injured my shoulder, when I’d mention my shoulder hurt she would tell me that it was all in my head and that I think too much.

If you want to get strong, if you want to feel better every day and if you care about your mental and physical health, you can find an hour a day 3 times a week.No thinking required just do wht your coach says. I have followed Starting Strenth for 8 years. We are fortunate we have 2 certified coaches plus an owner that is on site. You will not be disappointed. Robert
