The Villa Italia location is great. The vet and techs are professional and thorough. They cover their bases and prescribed an antibiotic right away so that my baby boy didn’t suffer.

The location is Belmar is AMAZING!!! Always impressed with the professionalism and customer service they provide. My dog is always greeted with kindness and joy. I will only go to this location as no others compare. Ashley who assisted checking us in and payment is so sweet! And April is so honest and funny. Truly thankful for the Belmar location and all of their staff.

I am SO impressed by this team! Vetco Villa Italia has been such a God send! Brixton was diagnosed with a very rare autoimmune disease and this team has gone above and beyond to take care of him to get him back to his happy healthy self and ensure he has been managed since then! We now see them frequently and they make myself and Brixton feel so comfortable during our visits! From Maria and Ashley at the front desk to Belle the tech and to the doctor every person that we talk to is so kind, helpful, and you can really tell they’re passionate about what they do! We LOVE this team and we will never go anywhere else!! Thank you Vetco team!

They charge a 5.99 fee for materials… no materials were used on my dog. No gloves, no swabs, nothing. Why am I paying 5.99 on top of $75 exam fee? I

As a corporate business this is as good as it can be. We have never seen the same staff/doctors twice so no one really knows our dogs. However, the staff has always been knowledgeable, kind, helpful, and accommodating.

Wonderful staff! Dr. Gordon and his assistant Mikaelah are amazing! I particularly loved the detailed, informative feedback during our vaccination visit.

Just getting My little Dog a appointment with the Doctor. It was very easy to do and they are supposed to give me a call. That's pretty good in my Book. I will be there on Friday, I'll post more.

The good - easy to schedule online appts. Dr. Gordon rocks easy to talk to and he answered every question I had intelligently. The bad - We waited almost 30 mins before my dog saw the tech. Making both my dog and I wait for that long is a bit much to expect from your clients. For a $70 visit fee you’d think they would be timely. There was an unclear medical records requirement before you show up, so make sure you bring recent vaccination records.

Dr. Levasseur is a godsend! She is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to give my husky the best care. And he didn’t even notice when she gave him his vaccines!! The staff was very friendly and welcoming as well, and my pup wasn’t nervous at all. I also booked online and it was SO easy that a monkey could do it. Made my morning super smooth. If I could give 10 stars I would. Highly recommend for a primary vet!

I feel confident that my dog has received good care. They checked all of their boxes. However I can't help but note, it felt very impersonal and I felt like I was treated like a stranger. Very stark contrast with my other vet here in Lakewood who sees my Great Dane. They expect me and they're looking forward to seeing my dog. I just didn't get that sense of caring from Thrive. Kind of like they haven't snapped out of the pandemic and the distance that it caused. I'm going to start taking him to my other vet.

This location refused to treat my dog after I had a panic attack. My panic started over them saying that it was not time for his treatment even though his records show that it was time for his first adulticide treatment. My Dog has heartworm and the treatment started with this clinic. My husband said he would come and prove them wrong. Then I was told to leave and that if my husband and I come back with the proof they would call the cops and I would be trespassing. I have a clean criminal record. This is how they treat disabled people. Especially if they are Black. My next step is filing a complaint with the BBB then the ADA for discrimination. No threats were made and I was told I was being fired as a client by the front desk staff. The vet on staff today refused to give me her name but said I was being rude when I was the one no one was listening to. Her name is in the files I asked the front desk staff to print out. The same files that showed it was time for my dog's treatment. The Vet that refused to treat my dog is named Dr. Kate LeVasseur. For some reason I can not pull up the lisence to practice in the state of Colorado. Clients have the right to this information and every doctor should have a license to practice in the state.*Found the license and the vet has already be reprimanded for similar behavior.Update:Customer Service called me to set up a same day appointment with a New doctor at a new loaction. Though, I am very sad because I really liked the doctor I was seeing before, at Lakewood. That is why I choose to travel there (30mins drive) instead of the location close to my house. We tried for weeks to schedule with our previous doctor.I will still be filing a complaint with BBB, ADA, and state labor laws becuase my civil rights were violated. This Vetco does not have BBB accreditation but has several negitive reviews that have dropped the rating to B if they had accreditation.Update: After going back though the records that were printed out for me, I noticed that the summary for April 10th is missing now. This is after handing the documents to the new location. Who claimed that they already had everything. I still have proof on the opposite page and will be submitting it to the veternarian board.I am expriencing nightmares now from this situation. This incident caused emotional damages.

I can write a full long page of how uncomfortable this place and the people that work here made me and my dog feel. I will definitely never be back or suggest this place to anyone. Not a very personal or professional vet.

Had wrong information about my dogs heartworm treatment and wouldn't listen even though I could provide proof. Then fundamentally disrespected my wife's disability. They don't treat African Americans well at all based on my experience now just avoid it. Now we have to find a new vet so our dog won't die a slow and painful death in our arms. If you are looking for a vet that cares about animals and is empathetic to their needs this is the wrong place.
