The pharmacy is terrible here. I was placed on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up on. I called back and was told they didn't have my son's prescription despite being told yesterday that the prescription would be ready this afternoon at 11am. I was placed on hold for another 10 minutes before I decided to hang up. My husband went to the pharmacy to try and get the prescription filled and dealt with a very rude woman at the front who ultimately told him it wouldn't be ready until at least 30 minutes. We were told that they do in fact have the prescription but forgot to fill it and we were given the run around because some of the staff doesn't know how to work their system. I don't feel heard or valued as a customer here. The staff is unapologetic and rude to customers.

Every time I need to get my pills to be delivered, I have to call multiple times and wait hours to get the staff answer. Their system is horrible and unhelpful. I will spend my money and effort to somewhere else. This place is sucked

Before I start this review I wish to state I put no fault at the pharmacists themselves, I stand in solidarity with those who have striken for better treatment and who have been so severely overworked and consistently stressed, this review goes out more towards the corporate side of thingsThis pharmacy had no issues from my partner or I a few years ago but it has been a rough past six months. Two really important medications of ours seperately have either consistently been out of stock or in the case of one of my own medications, was in limbo for a week because it somehow didn't get "pushed through" like it was supposed to. The medication still got in but that happened right before two days of the pharmacy being closed fully due to being understaffed and I still do not have it. This is frustrating since I've had to be off this medication for 2 months either rationing it out for financial reasons or playing a waiting game with Walgreens to get it. My partner couldn't get two of his important medications for a month and a half straight. I once again don't blame the poor workers who are about to get really busy making up for the closure but instead encourage Walgreens to provide a better system for its customers and employees that can ensure we get our medications and the pharmacists don't have to make up for the incompetency of the corporation as a wholeI recommend using the CVS down at Target, there's quick refills and good communication. The only reason I haven't switched one of my medications over is that my insurance has it the best price at this Walgreens.

I go here all the time. This morning I walked in and nobody was anywhere to be found, that’s fine. There was a lady that was supposed to be up front and she seen me waiting but she kept putting stickers on the items to mark them.. didn’t greet me didn’t say I’ll be right there she just walks up and stares at me so I say “hi how are you?” And she ignores me so I ask again and she says “GOOD” and I was like okay and I just asked for what I needed then as soon as my card got approved I walked away. So rude for no reason!! Will not be coming here anymore.. so f rude. Willing to travel 15 minutes for good customer service. Ridiculous human decency is not hard

First of all no customer service this lady was not friendly from the get-go. I should’ve known to wait for the other clerk but anyways I put in a photo order and for some reason my phone sent me all the way to Alameda and Wadsworth when I live 7 miles south of there, I was definitely stressed out by the time I got there, I waited in line for quite a while as there was some issue with somebody in front of me. OK that was all right. Definitely added more stress to the situation and then this new clerk came and I just had not a good feeling about her but anyways I went to get my photo order I did not get my 30% off and I asked her to please put my 30% discount on the photo order as I did not get it. I drove all this way in below zero weather with ice on the roads and, she had me try to look into my phone for another discount, which was more time-consuming instead of her, just going to their newspaper, which I know there’s an ad every week with a discount code for Photos. She would not give it to me. She would rather throw my photos away than help me I’m on a very tight budget right now and she just was Miss hottie Toddy and refused to help. Anyways, I should’ve waited for the other clerk. She seemed a lot more pleasant and I probably could’ve gotten a lot further, but anyways . I told her to throw the photo away because I was that upset I will never ever ever ever go back to this Walgreens.

This is the third time, in one day, I have been into the pharmacy to collect my prescriptions. Twice, so far, they have told me my scripts aren't done at the time they told me they would be done by. Not a good practice.

Don’t recommend! I’ve used this pharmacy for months and every time I need a prescription filled, they are closed. Or if they are open, the drive through is closed and the pharmacy line is halfway through the store. I’ve stood in line for 20 minutes with no movement at all before giving up. Currently going through medication withdrawals, and can’t even get someone on the phone. This is due to being severely understaffed and I guess the pharmacist just works whenever they feel like it. I’m done with this garbage pharmacy, and switching as soon as someone answers the phone!! Pharmacist can’t even tell me if the medication I’ll be getting is even safe for pregnant women. How do you not know this as a pharmacist??Garbage.

This place is the worst Walgreens especially the pharmacy. It takes about 30 to 45 min just to pick up medicine. Go elsewhere

Update: Seriously Unreliable! “oh surely it will be fine, Walgreens is so convenient I’ll just take my prescription back” - well, fool me twice, you know what they say. Shame on me. Today I showed up to pick up my prescription that they called to tell me was ready 2 hours prior to find the pharmacy had unexpectedly closed at 6pm on a weeknight. Needless to say I’ll be missing my meds tonight.Original post:I apparently cannot get my prescription renewed here any more. The app tells me I have to call them on the phone. When I do that, the wait is an hour. When I get ahold of them I find out that All they needed to do was get a renewal approval from my PCP. But now the notification hasn’t changed and I haven’t gotten any updates in 2 days. Now I’m out of my prescription and all I hear when I can is “there are more 3 other callers ahead of you”……. I guess I’ll go elsewhere to get my prescription.

we went to the pharmacy drive thru on thursday dec 21 and we were in line waiting at 7:35pm. by the time we got to the the window it was 7:59 no big deal! the problem I have is with the the pharmacist running the drive thru didn’t help us we were the last customers in line and and she threw up her sign and then pointed to it instead of helping us. for a medical professional it’s crazy to see another medical professional have zero customer service and just to leave the last car in her line out! maybe she’s paid paid to much to care about others.

I will never use this Walgreens ever again even though it’s the closest location to me. I needed a little help with a prescription refill, had to call multiple times because I kept getting hung up on while waiting on hold for over 2+ hours and then spoke with the store manager who told me the pharmacy is busy so I should fill my prescriptions somewhere else. I’ve been using Walgreens for my asthma meds for 20+ years. If that’s how you want to treat your customers you don’t deserve my money or my time. Good riddance!

Worst pharmacy I've ever been to in my life. Horrible customer service. They always have the sign up that says closed, when really they are open inside, why they wouldn't put a sign up saying drive thru closed, open inside is beyond me.

This is by far the worst walgreens i've ever been to. the lines are horrendous, at any point in the day expect an hour-2hrs wait. not to mention i ordered my prescriptions delivery to avoid this wait (which i have done previously at a proper walgreens no issue), they decide to send my prescription via DOORDASH( this should be illegal) what pharmacy in their right mind thinks it's ok to let random doordashers handle prescription medication?? anyways, i had 2 meds delivered and the doordasher only shows up with one. i have no idea where the other one is. i go up to the pharmacy, wait an hour to even talk to someone and they tell me there's nothing they can do because doordash lost it not them. they said i can either wait 30 days for a new prescription insurance will cover or pay out of pocket....for a medication i wasn't even responsible for losing. i argue with them reasonably for an hour before they finally decide oh it is their fault and give me my meds for free. i do not recommend this pharmacy to anyone and i am never the type of person to write reviews but i have had nothing but terrible experiences with this walgreens. i will be switching from pharmacy.

I am baffled by how terrible this Walgreens is. It's actually very scary. Last month they closed for a couple of days in a row due to being so understaffed there was no one to run the store. Additionally the bathrooms have been out of order due to "Plumbing issues" for over a month. This is an extremely busy pharmacy and the patients wait in line sometimes for over 45 minutes and need access to a restroom while waiting for medical purposes. This is against "The Restroom Access Act" law passed in January 2023. The Restroom Access Act, also known as Ally's Law, is legislation passed by several U.S. states that requires retail establishments that have toilet facilities for their employees to also allow customers to use the facilities if the customer has a medical condition requiring immediate access to a toilet. I was recently denied access to a toilet for medical purposes. Now I understand the homeless/indigent problem as this is concerning with some using public restrooms to consume drugs or conduct illegal behavior in a public restroom, however this unfortunately affects patients like myself. Additionally, have been on hold for over an hour to talk to a pharmacist. Walgreens, please do better. This is not ok and what you're doing is illegal on the restroom issue.

Absolutely the worst pharmacy and store in general. They never have your prescription ready when they say it's ready! Sometimes takes days to get. Staff is rude and clearly don't care. The store has no shopping carts or baskets. So if you want to shop while waiting for your prescription (which you will definitely have to wait) you have to carry around your items in your arms. It's beyond ridiculous!
