I’ve been a member of Westerra Credit Union since 1986. They are an amazing credit union to work with, and the nicest people you could ever imagine! Very professional and lots of great products to offer the credit union members.

After being a member with the Credit Union of Denver for more than a decade and repeatedly dealing with poor customer service, I switched to Westerra Credit Union. I've only been a member for a few weeks and have experienced nothing but poor customer service since I became a member. The employees here are incompetent. I signed up for their credit card and initiated a balance transfer from my old credit card. This should be a pretty basic transaction, but Westerra has made it very complicated.The representative I initially spoke with on the phone seemed hesitant and unsure on how to start the process for a balance transfer. After spending an insane amount of time on the phone with the rep to get the balance transfer setup, I was told the transfer should be completed in about 5 business days. Here I am checking my account with my old credit union and wondering why the balance is still there and then all of a sudden I receive a check in the mail from Westerra. A check that is made out to my old credit union and was supposed to be sent directly to them, but instead it was sent to me.After speaking with a manager at Westerra, she was quick to point the finger at the department who mailed the check out, saying its their fault and this has never happened before. She told me the check could not be reissued and that its my responsibility to get in the mail and sent to my old credit union, even though its their mistake. They did absolutely nothing to help me out or make it right.It looks like this is a glimpse of what customer service will be like in the future with Westerra. They have wasted so much of my time. I do not recommend becoming a member with them. They are extremely disorganized and should not be handling people's money.

I've been a Jeffco Schools to Westerra CU customer in Green Mountain for decades. I'm a delighted, long-term customer.

Their ATM didn't give me the right amount of money and destroyed a $20 bill as it can out of the machine. They were unhelpful and would not give me the proper cash back. Their staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Will NEVER go back here. I will be taking my banking needs elsewhere.

This branch has snarky, rude and inaccurate tellers. The managers take lunch breaks at all hours of the day, at the same time so there was no one to speak to about it. Hmmm. I'd strongly advise to go somewhere else.

I have used Westerra Credit Union since it was a tiny credit Union in a tiny trailer on Quail Street. It has always been there for me. The people are kind & helpful. It's just been the best bank for me. I've counted on it's people for 50 years.

The hours are actually M-F 9-5 and sat 9-noon. Nice people employed here, they mentioned the hour update will be worked on now that it's been put to their attention.

We decided to refinance with Westerra Credit Union. The Mortgage Loan Officer who helped us was Nancy Lumbye. She made the entire process easy and no Drama. Nancy helped us lock in a Great Interest Rate. Nancy has great communication skills, very professional, experienced and will guide you through the process. If you're looking to refinance with Westerra I highly recommend you ask for Nancy Lumbye.

Signed up for savings and checking yesterday, hard pull on my credit. Got pre-approved for $850,000 home loan. Soft pull. This better be the best bank on the planet.

Going in the representatives are kind and help you get in easily. I had called 3 times today. 1 helped, the second couldn’t hear me and so I thought it was a communication error on my part. So I hung up and called back, only to get hung up on. Never seen a bank answering calls be so rude!! Lost two stars for customer service.

Overall, I have loved my experience with Westerra. Word of caution at this branch though,they do not have a coin counter and refuse to take any coins for deposits.
