This location has the worst customer service. The person that helped me made me feel uncomfortable because it seemed like she didn’t want to be there. She was in a bad mood.

Absolutely worst financial institution I have ever dealt with. Bait and switched us on our HELOC costing us thousands of dollars. Getting a hold of anyone is impossible.

I always have great experiences with the staff here, but the lag in technology is a major downside. The cards are cheap & don't have tap-to-pay, and the app and website logins are concerningly slow & clunky. Like....... "Is the server down?" kind of slow.Also, I hate the 'pin' feature on the app and it IS NOT secure. I love banking with a credit union that's easily accessible in Lakewood/Littleton, but the tech gap has grown into an ongoing obstacle that's outweighing the convenience.

Just opened a checking and savings account yesterday and am already unhappy with my customer service experience. I asked the lady several times how long they were going to want to hold my funds before releasing them to me. She stated that it would be around 2 days. I told her many times I didn’t want to open the account or deposit my check if it was going to be a long hold. Opening the account went smoothly but when i go to deposit the check they say it’s going to be a 7 business day hold, which with the new years holiday equals almost 2 full weeks when said and done. Meanwhile I have rent and bills due on the first. I would not have deposited that check if they to just told me they were going to hold it for that long. We live in the age of computers, you can’t tell me it takes that long for them to figure out if there’s money in the account. And the fact that they won’t work with me even a little bit Is extremely frustrating. So I was given false information and they refuse to work with me after doing so. Looks like I’ll probably be closing my account as quickly as I opened it. Even Wells Fargo would work with me in this situation. It’s too bad because I was looking forward to banking with Westerra.Follow up: they turned my card off due to suspected fraud for trying to make a $200 purchase. They couldn’t even get ahold of the fraud department and now they’re closed for the holiday and I can’t get through to anyone until tomorrow. I have never received worse customer service in my life. I will be canceling my membership and removing my funds whenever humanly possible. This place is an absolute joke. They screw you and don’t provide a way to fix it. Changing my review to 1 star. I’d give them zero stars if I could. I’ve never been so fed up with a business so quickly. My experience has been absolutely horrible. I can’t wait to close my account. DO NOT GO TO WESTERRA UNLESS YOU WANT THEM TO SCREW YOU OVER FOR SEVERAL DAYS!! WORST CU EVER!!

i might switch banks because i haven’t been able to use my credit or debit card for over two weeks. originally went in and the card printer was done, was told my credit/debit cards were cancelled due to fraud (even though i was christmas shopping) and they couldn’t be reactivated. i said i would like the credit card shipped. a frw days later i go to get my debit card shipped but i’m told that, due to trying to save plastic, they can’t print it out. a week later, two cards come in for no reason. no pins. don’t work anywhere. call to activate them multiple times, still won’t work. and of course the branch has been closed bc of the holidays. can’t pay my rent or anything thanks

I’ve never had an issue with them in the past… but last Friday I was having an awful day, I went in with shades because my eyes were irritated and one random heavy set girl said “TAKE YOUR SHADES OFF” and I just replied “… why” and she just kept telling me to take them off with no explanation until another girl said “for security reasons”… we were wearing masks for most of the pandemic, so why would shades matter and I wouldn’t mind taking them off had she been kind about it.. I’m considering switching credit unions for such a poor experience.

Monday 01/10/2022 on line info states Lakewood commons location closes at 6pm yet they closed at 5pm . I arrived 5:02pm not being able to enter I contact customer service n assistant informs me that lobby closes at 5pm drive thru closes at 6pm lakewood commons doesn't have a drive thru. False info on Google maps . thank you for responding?
