This review is regarding Freight events and venue planners. While the venue itself is beautiful and so unique, the venue staff and CEO are dismissive and lack communication. Their website advertises several things that they actually no longer offer, like an in house coordinator, that is no longer with them unless you book in 2025. In the end, I waited 2 weeks for a contract that never came and spent the whole time stressing instead of being excited. When I expressed my concerns and frustrations, I was let go as a client. It was an overall disappointing, and heart wrenching experience as a future bride.

Great location, cute and cozy cabin, loved the stove top for making breakfast, loved that our pup Rocky could join us! We absolutely want to stay again!

Loved our stay so much that we already booked our return trip next year! Clean and adorable cottages in walking distance to restaurants and shops. The management team was super communicative and made us feel taken care of. Can't wait to return!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a quick, affordable night to make our trip to a far ski resort easier, and our cabin was so adorable that I wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy it! The bed was comfortable, the decor is modern, and the extra freebies and signage in the room (such as high altitude tips) really made this property stand out.

This was a last minute trip for my partner and I! It was the cutest little spot! The heated floors, TV, and the bed were all so comfortable! I would definitely return and come back! Very cozy and homey!

I took a little solo trip with my dog to Leadville and I was so so grateful to have found The Freight! It was such a relaxing little cabin and I loved how close of a walk it was to the Main Street. I stayed in the Georgia cabin and it was so cute & extremely clean. Will definitely stay again this summer!Rooms: Super cozy and cleanNearby activities: Hiking, train ride, shopping, food, skiingSafety: Felt completely safeWalkability: Super close to cafes, shops, and restaurantsFood & drinks: The chocolates and electrolyte drinks were so nice!

This was my first visit to FREIGHT, and I attended their "Yak" event. So i attended the venue but did not see or stay in the rooms. The style and ambiance of the venue is just beautiful and adorable and quaint. I love the rustic with modern touches. They were very attentive st the event and it was a very comfortable setting! I wish I lived closer to come much more often. Beautiful space.

I absolutely loved this place!!! It has that serene mountain vibe. The check in and check out process was super smooth. The price is reasonable and the location is not far from Ski resorts. The cabins were spotless and absolutely beautiful with comfortable beds. I would recommend this Abnb to anyone…it is truly a GEM!Nearby activities: Ski/snowboard. Snowmobile, hiking and walking distance to local places to eat like Mountain Pies among others. Local town also has cheaper snow activities rentals vs. ski resorts.Noteworthy details: The room brought me back to my early days. It had a record player with good selection of records for relaxing music. The player also can take cassettes and DVDs, so feel free to bring some nostalgic good music days. The kitchenette had everything you needed for light meals.

The cabin was SO cozy and comfortable with such lovely touches like an altitude adjustment kit including lotion and Advil, adorable old school radio/blue tooth music player, local recommendations, and a kitchenette with everything you could need including coffee. Such a great value in a great location too. We will be back!
