About Leadville-Lake County Regional Airport (KLXV)
The Leadville Regional Airport is the highest elevation airport in North America. We offer aircraft storage in a heated, 11000 sqft hangar, full and self-serve jet fuel, self-serve Avgas, two courtesy vehicles, and much more. Our brand new, award winning, 6,400ft runway is open year round. Even in the winter!
LXV is a 30 minute drive from Copper Mountain resort. A 50 minute drive from Breckenridge, Keystone, and Vail ski resorts. And a 1 hour drive from Beaver Creek and Araphoe Basin ski resorts.
Our field elevation of 9,934' MSL makes us the preeminent location for high altitude testing of aircraft, UAVs, helicopters, and engines. Please call with questions or to schedule your testing dates.
