I've lived here for over a year now, and I don't even bother with packages for the usps, only ups or fedex. They can't even deliver regular mail without screwing it up. I'll get checks 2 weeks late. For example, I have one check and bank statement that should have been delivered Monday of last week, but they still haven't arrived. I did get my junk mail on time though. Thanks for nothing, I guess.

Terrible delivery service, constantly forgetting packages, and I am honestly very dissatisfied with this postal service, by far the worst out of any place I have lived, please improve it, thanks. ALSO STOP FORGETTING MY DAMN PACKAGES ITS REALLY ANNOYING.

Says they can't access my front door when all they have to do is walk right up to it. Can't get any additional information.

Worst post office I’ve ever been to specifically because of front desk woman RITA. Would not help in any way shape or form. I went out of my way to talk to one of the men sorting through mail in the back and HE was able to help even though when I asked Rita to talk to him she said no. She was not rude to any other customer while I was there and the only difference between me and everyone else was the color of my skin.

had a faulty address and they helped me by holding my packages and gave me a call when they had it instead of sending it back. Postmaster and the ladies are very friendly and try to help. thank you<3

Horrible post office. Lost 3 of my checks in a row. All 3 had made it to their post office before mysteriously disappearing and then when call to ask whyI was told they don't lose mail and they hung up on me. I had to pay out of pocket to get my checks reprinted and overnighted to me. Greg is absolutely pathetic and worthless

I have a new born and a car that isn't working due to the cold. I rely on the mail service for diapers etc, everything baby related. And family and friends try to send me things as well but this postal service is the worst I have ever experienced. They have no reason to not deliver my packages my mail box is on the street. I even confronted the mail man and he said I needed to shovel so I did exactly that and the next day he still skipped me! What kind of person has a box of diapers in their mail truck and refuses to deliver them!? Ridiculous. It's such a hassle to have your items returned to sender for no reason!

Have been using usps online to stop mail for periods while gone. Random mail is still delivered, regular mail service is delayed by a few days, never resumed when requested. Amount of mis-delivered mail is astonishing. Poorly managed service as compared to my second home.

Horrible customer service! They lost my package and when i went in to ask them where it was they told me i was never there.. they printed out papers for me to "show" me that i was never there and when i went to grab the paper to look for myself there was clear proof on it that I HAD BEEN there! The manager told me i couldnt take the papers and chased me to my car took pictures of me and told me he is calling the police! So they lost my package, called me a liar stressed me out and got the police involvement. The police took my side lol I did nothing illegal here ? ? and i have the papers to prove it ?

One would imagine not losing packages, delivering mail, or at the very least putting the little we missed you slip would be the bare minimum for a post office, unfortunately for everyone in Leadville this post office doesn’t do anything right. Worst post office in America it’s just gotta be

I've lived a lot of places and have never experienced postal service like this. Our mailbox is right on the side of the road but if it snows at all, we won't get mail or packages delivered. It's a mountain town. There is always snow. They never re-deliver so if you "miss" a package due to their pettiness, you have to go wait in long lines at the post office. Good luck if you work normal business hours! We complained once after shoveling and still getting an "undelivered" email, and they didn't deliver any of our mail for a full week. Worst of the worst, wish I could avoid USPS entirely just to dodge the stress of dealing with them.

I get really tired of USPS classifying my packages as undeliverable when the desk I work at is literally next to the front door and looking out at the mailbox, and no postal worker has made an appearance ever, when the packages have been classified as undeliverable, including todays. Additionally, I'm very tired of their refusal to deliver on Tues, Thursday, and Saturday, often. That's pretty consistent (especially in the winter), only in this, they consistently deny it. When I call USPS, they always say they're short handed and I can come pick the stuff up. I don't order these things so I can then travel to pick them up, and I do not appreciate the lie that the package was undeliverable. It wasn't, isn't, and probably never will be. If you're short drivers, just admit it and say when you're going to actually deliver. Don't imply that the person receiving the package was at fault. We aren't. If you're honest instead, I think you'll find people are easier to deal with, as long as it's not something like their prescriptions that they're waiting on, which it sometimes is. Now, can I get my packages delivered? Leadville Colorado USPS. With no further bs excuses? Thanks. p.s. At the least, the staff are generally not rude. So that's a plus.

I've lived here in Leadville since July of last year and have had many packages be delivered later than they should have been. For example we just watched him drive our whole street and skip everyone and when I went to the post office to figure out what the issue was the gal said oh nobody on your street had mail. I think it's time to remove everyone there and start from the bottom.
