Love this groomer! I have two wacky golden retrievers, and they come out looking like little models. I love that the dogs get to wander around in the room before/after their session, instead of being put in a holding area. Barky Mountain does a great job, and I totally recommend them.

I was hesitant to leave an honest review due to the unprofessional responses the owner is leaving, however I’ve determined that my dogs safety and awareness is more important. When making an appointment I made it clear that I only wanted a bath, brush, de-shed, and nail trim. I wanted nothing cut or trimmed at all. The gentleman on the phone assured me that they wouldn’t do anything but that (as I do the rest myself at home). When I picked up my dog the groomer I was told that I would have a $15 additional charge since my dog was “difficult to handle” (this had never been an issue at any of the groomers he has been to so I was shocked but none the less complied). She then informed me that she scratched my dogs nose with the brush. I wasn’t worried about it at first because I figured it was an honest mistake, it didn’t look noticeable at the time, and I appreciated her telling me upfront. I paid and went home.Once I got home his nose was bleeding and he kept licking his private. I took a closer look and saw that not only did they cut around his stomach, they cut the tip of his private and it was also red bleeding.I know that it is customary to do a hygienic clip during a groom but I specifically asked for nothing but the bath and NO CUT AT ALL.My poor dog is now having to wear a cone to prevent him from getting an infection where they cut his private. His nose is starting to heal thankfully but I’m still very concerned about his other injury.I’m disappointed and heart broken that my baby is suffering from something that never should have happened.

The Owner, Crystal, was the only one who handled my aging dog well enough to groom him. That dog has passed on, but I am bringing my new dog to her also.

Very unhappy with grooming on my mini bernerdoodle. My dog had some knots but nothing major in my opinion . They shaved him so close It took over 3 months for him to have 1/2” of growth. Spoke with a manger who didn’t seem to care either way. Found a new groomer.

They did a great job with a friend’s dogs and made it so easy for us to pick up and drop off the dogs for grooming. Thanks for keeping the dogs well maintained!

Very highly recommended! The groomer my shihpoo and shih tzu had their whole lives had to retire for health reasons, so I was forced to find a new place to take care of my babies. It was challenging to find a place that did not kennel the pups and was also exceptionally clean, as that is what we were used to. Chelsea takes great care of Murphy and Watson, and their cuts are always consistent. Prices are great compared to what I have heard other puppy parents paying. You do need to book well in advance!

Absolutely fantastic dog groomer. We drove from 25 min away to get out dog groomed here. Our dog had some knots and matting on her legs. Her coat is a nightmare to maintain even with consistent brushing. We took her to a local groomer before taking our dog here. The other groomer wanted to completely shave her even though some of the knots were just around the legs. Barky mountain grooming did a terrific job with her. They also noticed a wound around my dogs ear that was likely caused by the first dog groomers clippers and they never notified us. Barky mountain grooming saved our dogs coat and she looks great!

I took my Theodore (Golden retriever) I was skeptical just due to him never having been to a groomer and having heard horror stories. But they did amazing. He was trimmed just how they explained his tail and flooff was all brushed out and he smelt good, he was completely soft. Also completely shed free. They were super sweet and understanding and was able to get him in quickly for the groom. He seems like he enjoyed his time with them and what I was quoted was exactly what I paid. For be a first time skeptical dog mom. I was extremely happy with the service. I attached some photos of the trim, he was exactly as I had hoped he would come out.

Our 14 yr old rescue cat was comfortable getting her nails trimmed. The staff was overly helpful. Highly recommend!!!
