I cant put a used gun on hold so I can come back when I have an hour to waste on paper work - then a 4 day hold on top of that. That is REALLY bad customer service. you need to do better for your customers cabelas.

Unfortunately, the employees that are associated with the gun counter have no knowledge on 90% of the firearms that are available. They have this computer system that you need to put your name into to wait in line. I was the only one to use it and for some reason I was not attended to for 35 minutes. This is the second time I have tried to purchase a quality used firearm from the gun locker and this is now the second time I have had to take that fire arm to a gunsmith to have it fixed. The worst part about it is the fact that nobody in the store cares. I am spending hard earned money And being treated like a second rate piece of trash. If I had a question, I had to Google the answer. I am not one to leave a review. I really hope people out there will look at the local gun stores before going To Cabela's or. Bass Pro shops. It is my fault because I should've learned the first time. Shame on me for actually thinking I could buy a firearm from a company that told me that they would clean it and have it ready for me. And then reverse and say do not do cleaning and it is not their problem that the fire arm is filthy. I almost feel a shame in shopping at that store.

Huh?? they stopped doing the 24 hour "layaway" / hold on used guns. takes forever to buy a gun these days. you'd think they'd still allow their customers to put a gun on hold for when we have more time. Feels like cabelas doesnt like their gun buying customers anymore. No problem, there are other gun shops.

Nice big store with great variety. My only hesitation in going here is the relentless pushing of their credit card. Every time you visit you will get flagged down by two or three people with a high pressure sales pitch on all the ways this card will change your life. It reminds me of those time share presentations. If they could just hang some posters or something advertising the card, I wouldn't have to spend my shopping trips avoiding eye contact and pretending I don't need assistance. Maybe less introverted people don't mind this, but it is enough for me to make the much further trek to REI.

Pretty decent although it seems like the quality has gone down since they merged with Bass Pro Shops.

Cabela's isn't just a store, it's an outdoor adventure playground! Everything I need for camping, fishing, hiking, you name it - all under one roof. Plus, the wildlife exhibits are always a fun bonus. Two thumbs up!

Bought my husband’s Christmas gift here and they left the security tag on. I had to drive 25 min each way to get it removed so he could use it and the response to this was “sorry about that”. I’ll avoid this one going forward, I certainly don’t have time to do my shopping twice.

Way friendlier staff than the Bass Pro in Denver makes for a much more pleasant shopping experience.
