From what I’ve gathered, the worst of all the breathalyzer services. Constantly charging me for things that were their problems, had four batteries in three years. Constantly had to call customer service and address problems

Avoid Intoxalock at all costs.
They might look cheaper upfront, but that’s just bait. Their hidden fees, outdated equipment, and endless false lockouts will make your life miserable. You’ll get locked out for chewing gum, drinking a vanilla latte, or eating chocolate—and then they’ll report those as failed BAC tests to the DMV. That means more hearings, more time wasted, and more stress, only for the DMV to confirm what you already knew: it wasn’t alcohol.
Yes, people make mistakes—that’s why these devices exist—but Intoxalock turns a tough situation into a nightmare. They profit off your hardship. If you want to keep your sanity, skip them entirely. Smart Start might cost a little more, but at least they don’t punish you for trying to move on with your life.

I have been on the phone with customer service for a few days now trying to get device switched to another vehicle. The deal ship is now becoming very angry with me because they want my car which was a trade in. I called to get work order submitted, finally last night( two days later) the order was put in. However the pst two days at car toys they have yet to even pick up their phones.
Back in February I was told there was a technician who would personally come and switch the device out. But now interlock does not want to go that route. So what am I supposed to do. This is ridiculous. After all the money we pay for this the services are terrible. Customer service is terrible. No one wants to do any more then they absolutely have to for the customers. Please think about this before you decide on who is going to do your business.

Waiting for my affidavit went to take my DMV written test and I showed my install paper. But they haven't received your paperwork so I cant take the test. They did respond quickly and have resolved my issue .

Intoxalock is by far the most difficult company to deal with. The have the worst customer service of any company I’ve ever done business with by far. The fact that you cannot even email a complaint says it all. The sailor times often exceed 1 hr. They charge you for lock outs even when the device is faulty. If you were unfortunate enough to pay extra for their towing service you’ll know it’s a scam. My device shorted out while I was driving causing sparks to come out of the unit. I had to have the car towed, and the tow truck driver actually forgot to secure my car when loading it. Yes, the car fell off the tow bed. Intoxalock took no responsibility as the service I paid for is actually contracted with someone else. After 13 month of no response I am having to take them to court. The device on my new car keeps draining the battery which puts me in lockout. I have to pay $75 for each lockout.. it’s my 3rd in 3 days and the service we tee can “inspect” my far for another week. Total BS. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!! YOU WILL RERGRET DOUNF BUSINESS WIRH THEM. They also bill bi-weekly, making your total payments much more expensive.

This location was recommended by Intoxalock. I brought my vehicle in at 9am for a 1 to 3 hour iIntoxalock install. The installation was professionally completed and the tutorial video online was very helpful. I’m back on the road again. Thanks, you’re the best !

The staff member who was working the front desk was extremely rude. I was waiting to get my keys for my car that was serviced and he was more eager to help the next customer behind me, who I overheard was buying speakers for her son’s car. I asked him if he could help me work the device that was recently installed in my vehicle and he again, in frustration said I’m the only one here. He did not even try to help me or try to manage both myself and the woman behind me. He left me to either figure it out myself or I stand there until he serviced the person (s) BEHIND me. It was completely rude and unprofessional. I am dreading going back for my monthly service. I can only imagine what that will be like.

If I could rate it a minus,I would! It's like going to the dentist and the DMV at the same time! Customer service is the worst I've ever dealt with. They aren't even local. Charges on my account I wasn't aware of!
