Purchased a viola starter pack at a school rental night. Was told it would be delivered to the school within a few days. It is now more than a month later and my kid never got the starter pack. To top it off the customer service line does not answer the phone. I sent an email to see if I could get it resolved and the same day I got a random $30 charge on my credit card. This has been a very frustrating experience and my daughter still has no viola pack!

Helpful in store people but their customer service department and dealing with any rental issues is not worth renting from this company. Try to rent from your school. I was renting an instrument for my son and just returned it the last day it was due, I was told in store this would prevent further charges. However, the day I returned it, I was still charged. I was told by in store staff to call their 1-800 number and I did so immediately after leaving the store and waited on hold for 45 minutes and still was never able to talk to anyone! I then called the store and was told "they have issues with their customer support". I was charged $55 for no rental. There are other companies to support your needs for musical instruments instead of Music and Art.

Very poor experience with lessons. Tried to cancel lessons because we were traveling for the holidays. We missed 3 of 4 lessons before they called and asked why we weren’t coming. We had originally planned on continuing our lessons, but after multiple refusals to work with us (saying “you signed the contract and there’s nothing we can do”) by staff and manager, that’s not going to happen. I wasn’t expecting much as they are technically correct - we did sign, but didn’t understand the auto renewal policy. They can do better, and should.

We came sliding in sideways five minutes before closing time and the lady was very helpful and didn't rush us at all. We were there to check on getting my wife's flute serviced for her to begin teaching lessons and she walked us through that process with a pricing brochure and gave us all the time we wanted to find sheet music after that. Super friendly. Then we discovered as we were cashing out that music instructors got a discount on the sheet music and that was the icing on the cake!

Very limited options. Good for beginner or any starter . Cheaper instruments and cheap music stand. Not recommended for intermediate or professional needs :/

I rented a trumpet for my daughter and as I was returning it, one of the workers said that I could get a hundred dollars credit for a different instrument. I told her that I would wait until my kids were out of school so they could pick which instrument they wanted. Last Thursday, I went in with my kids to return the trumpet and find a new instrument. I gave the trumpet to the man at the cashier, expecting him to complete the process with the credit opportunity. Without a word, he returned the trumpet without mentioning the credit opportunity. When I asked about it, he said "Sorry I already returned it. I can't do anything about it." This employee scammed me, and his response was a pathetic excuse of an apology. I am incredibly disappointed. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Have rented and bought many instruments here and always enjoyed it. Staff is very helpful and the renting program is greatly priced and has great benefits with the credit towards buying something.

The staff and music teachers are awesome!! Don't get me wrong I loved going in for my son's violin lessons and so did he. The problem is this company has take $450 out of my account without permission since the 10th of July. I paid $178 for his lessons. That was fine, but then 2 days later another $148 was taken. Then I called and let them know so the nice lady submitted for a refund immediately. Great customer service on her part, unfortunately they charged another $148 the next day. I had to wait weeks to get my $300 back. Eventually I got it so all was good. And than this morning I was charged another $148 for absolutely no reason. Who knows how I long it will take to get the refund this time. I have to go to my bank, dispute the charges, than I'm bringing their violin back and canceling everything with them to make sure they never take anymore money from me. They also gave me the customer service line to call and I did and all she did was call them with me on 3 way and chew the guy who gave me their number out for giving it me because they only deal with rentals not lessons. Terrible experience overall. Again with the company NOT the staff. The staff at this location are all sweet and very helpful!

Helpful staff, but totally under staffed. If you roll in expect a huge line and pack a lunch. It is a very poor experience.

I had my 30+ year old clarinet refurbished by M&A. The staff was very helpful throughout the process. They did a good job getting the instrument back in order and the price was reasonable.
