This Safeway is pretty much the same as all others, sparse for customers and employees. But the store was clean and fully stocked and I was able to get in, find what I was looking for and be on my way in a timely manner. The food in the produce section seemed somewhat fresh and presentable, but again it served my needs and I was satisfied. Good service all around.

Been shopping here for 12 years and it is a good store. Had very few instances where service wasn't good and the ones I did have I chalk up to someone just having a bad day, which happens to all of us! I have to admit I don't get the one star reviews and the severe complaints. I don't know how many of these reviewers have ever run a business. It's hard, and I believe that the employees at this location try and do a good job for their customers. I also think we need to give others some grace when we are being so critical. We don't know what they have going on at the moment and people are complaining about a loaf of bread or some other rather trivial matter for goodness sake. Thanks to the employees who are working today! (Thanksgiving) and I appreciate the good service I've always received! Thank you!

I have shopped at this Safeway for several years but I can no longer recommend it and have switched to King Soopers. Terrible customer service. They don't even try to make your shopping experience pleasant. Most of the employees seem miserable, bitter, and very unhappy. The atmosphere is very heavy and depressing. There is usually only one actual checker and I usually have to wait in line to check out. When you try to chat or make small talk with anyone there is absolutely no response. Where is the manager asking if I have found everything I need? They all seem so unhappy. Rarely do they have someone to bag my groceries and I usually had to bag my own. There was actually a checker who refused to help bag and instead looked at his phone while other people waited in line. Another time the checker seemed quite angry about my large order and having to help me bag. Still another time the checker saw me coming with a full cart and quickly turned off his light and walked away. The prices are also generally higher than King Soopers and you will pay a steep Lone Tree sales tax. The store is also in need of an update. Very dingy. Lighting seems dark and shelves are dirty and half empty. It's just not a happy place. Bye Bye. So Long. Farewell.

Apparently if you need something the employees tell you that the person is in their lunch and you have to wait 30 minutes. Horrible service. Customer service at front of the store is also horrible.

Regularly stocking expired food on shelves. Just bought muffins with a July 9th expiration date on August 5th.

Always well stocked, friendly and clean environment! The store is laid out a little weird compared to other grocery stores but everything is so well stocked it's amazing!!! And the liquor store is right inside too which is super convenient. Further from my house but I always go here .

The bakery did a fantastic job on our son's birthday cake! I ordered it online, was able to select custom options for it. Super easy to submit. The only thing was they didn't have the rainbow cake they offered online & substituted vanilla. It was still gorgeous & delicious. And for $20, definitely a strong competitor for the Kitschy Bakeries that charge twice as much for the same thing. And let me repeat how DELICIOUS it was.

This is my local Safeway in lone tree and the one I frequent most often. The employees here are generally friendly. The store is always under stocked on basic products, and the produce department is depressing. Most of the produce is wilted, rotting, bruised, and beaten up. I often sift through trying to find a decent one or two and come up short. The bakery makes up a little for the produce however, and always has good stuff! It makes it more worth your while if you use the Safeway app to clip the coupons, rewards etc. I definitely save a lot of money that way, which keeps us coming back.

Came here to get some household essentials (and by household essentials I meant ice cream and cakes and desserts lol)They had a great deal of BOGO for Ben & Jerry's and of course I had to get me some of those! The pumpkin cheesecake flavor was great! Also tried their lemon cream pie. Finished the whole thing in 5 minutes... very decant and yet light with refreshing lemon flavor and scent. The creamy whipped topping was fluffy and delicious!

So many fresh turkeys and not one frozen butterball in sight, not particularly keen on buying a fresh Turkey that will go rancid by the time thanksgiving rolls around.I no longer go to this grocery that is close to me and make the longer trek to King Soopers which always seems to be better stocked.

I usually stop into Sprouts or King Soopers but since Safeway is so close decided to give it a try. The employees here are pretty aloof..my cashier was aggressively tossing my vegetables down the line to the women who was bagging. No one seemed friendly, I was pretty much ignored because employees were too busy chatting with each other, and the energy here is just uncomfortable...like everyone really hates their job. They really need to open up more lanes as well, there was a huge line for self checkout that was blocking the aisles.

Their prices are higher than their competition; their produce is often old but nicely displayed. They are frequently sold out of their specials and coupon specials on the first day of the sale. That gets them a 2.5. But what compels the one star and this review is my experience today with their pharmacy. I made an appointment for a vaccination after filling out exhaustive information including my mobile phone and email. I arrived on time only to be told they were sold out of the vaccine. When I expressed my anger that they hadn't bothered to phone, text or email me so I would have avoided the twenty-minute each way drive, guess what they said; Sorry for the inconvenience!

I don't go to this Safeway often. I went today because I was craving agua fresca, and Safeway has 2 lbs of watermelon chunks for $7. I ended up with cantaloupe chunks, too. Limes were 99 cents each. Smh. The prices on some things seem higher than King Soopers. Or Sprouts. I did get a cauliflower-crust pizza on sale. Delicious! This is a large, clean store. The liquor department is convenient. Prices are fair. Sale prices are good. I wouldn't shop here regularly, but I did get a bottle of Apothic Rosé for $10. During the lockdown, when there was no Kleenex ANYWHERE, I found some on Safeway's website with store pickup. I ordered 8 boxes (I have allergies). The morning that I was supposed to pick them up, the store manager called and said that they didn't have them. I do appreciate the call. He didn't know when they would have any in stock. Finally was able to order a case of 18 boxes from Costco. Had to use my "wedding and funeral" handkerchiefs until then. Only one register was manned, but the line wasn't too bad and the cashier was efficient, if not particularly friendly. I don't like self-checkout. It takes jobs away from people. Four stars for cleanliness and selection, although it's three stars for prices and lack of cashiers. I know that hiring is difficult. Also, the layout is weird. Sauerkraut should have been with the hot dogs/lunch meats, but it was on the other side of the store near the butter. Annoying and strange placement.

Received horrible service 2-14-22 at about 8:50pmSelf check out attendant lady (couldn't see a name tag sorry) had THE WORST ATTITUDE! The manager, Janet, did not seemed to be surprised about receiving another complaint about this employee's behavior. While I was trying to complain about the attitude I got, the employee stood by and tried to argue with me. I will not be back!
