I’ve had a very disappointing experience with Talbots. They often send out coupons that can supposedly be used for in-store and online orders but nearly every time I try, my order ends up getting canceled. On one occasion, I even went to the store to check if the items were really sold out, and they were still available. It felt like they simply canceled my order because I used a coupon.
What’s worse, this store refuses to honor the coupons in person, claiming they can’t be used on sale or final sale items even though that restriction isn’t written anywhere on the coupon.
It feels very misleading and dishonest. I genuinely wanted to support this brand, but their inconsistency and lack of transparency when it comes to coupons have really turned me off.

I like this Talbot's, and usually have good service. My complaint is I drove up from Colorado Springs to make a return, only to find the store was closed for remodeling. When I called Talbot's number on my invoice they did allow me to ship my return at no charge due to the inconvenience. But they had no idea this location was closed and asked ME if IKNEW when it would reopen. Does anyone know when it will reopen?

Six days ago I purchased over $300 worth of clothing, discounted as the store is temporarily closing for a remodel. Then July 4th offered 50% off everything. The local manager would not match the reduced price when I went in with the receipt. Had I had the clothes with me, I would have returned everything because of exceptionally poor customer relations. In fact, I may go back and do that. I won’t support such poor business practices.

Nice store. Clean and stocked. Friendly staff. Decent clothes too (not cheap stuff that falls apart when you wash it). Prices are comparable to other clothing stores.

I'd never been to Talbots before, but I was shopping for my aunt. The ladies were friendly and very helpful. I was able to find what I was looking for. Beautiful clothes.

My wife loves their clothes. The store in our town has closed, but we were in the area and "had to" stop and shop in person. She likes to touch the clothes to determine if she likes the fabric. We will be back when in the area again.

This is the 3rd time I've had low quality service at this Talbots. My mother ordered clothes to be delivered to their store so she could try them while in the store. The ladies looked and only found one package. (We knew there were more.) They were very confused and made us feel like we were an inconvenience. They seemed irritated and put out. They made little effort to go out of their way to accommodate my mother- who is on oxygen and has a walker. Didn't double check for the order! Didn't see if the items were in a mail box. Didn't see if they could pull some items from their shelves while she was there. We called the next day to find out that indeed -her items were in the store the whole time! A package of about 10 items. No apology! No offer to accommodate. Spoke to Debbie- the store manager who was cold and defensive, and I'm not sure why someone with so little compassion and poor communication skills is a manager.. Good news! I called the Aspen Grove store and spoke to their store manager- Amy! She is an angel. She immediately arranged for my mother's order to be shipped to her house and was empathetic and apologetic to the way we were treated. She put me in touch with the Corporate Manager, Nick, and he called me from his cell phone after hours on the east coast to apologize for our experience and will work with me to make our experience better! Amy and Nick are a class act! I will never step foot into Talbots in Park Meadows!

This place doesn’t even exist anymore. Drive around everywhere and there are absolutely no signs or markings for it. Called and no answer. Very frustrating

Worst manager ever at the Park Meadows store in Colorado! I stood in line for 40 minutes to order one top. Once I finally got to the counter,h she told me she couldn't help me because the line was so long and that I had to call two other stores myself to find my top! At least two other sales reps were helping other customers place orders that took them 15 minutes to place. I will never go back to this store!!
