Worst bank I have dealt with. Applied for a new checking account online. Kept getting daily emails we are working on it. Call customer service. She says there was a “glitch”. Should be soon you will have your account. I wait another week. No updates or anything. New customer service guy says “yes glitch. IT still working on it.” Now its been about 2 weeks. I stop into a branch by my house. No customers in bank. About 5-6 people working doing nothing. Lady manager tells me her associate will help me even though she is doing nothing. Guy comes over. He is nice but has no clue what is going on. He asks several times what the status is of my account. I tell him, “I dont know you tell me. You work here.” He hits a bunch of buttons. Tells me “I dont know what is going on with your account.” I laugh and leave. Been about 3 more weeks(5 weeks total or so since I first applied) and noone has reached out to me. Wont ever use BMO again.

Extremely slow service at this branch. Staff doesn't seem to care or even have the slightest bit of urgency when helping customers. Bank elsewhere or they will waste your time.

My wife has now been continually asked a series of invasive questions by the same employee after multiple years of cashing the same bi-weekly check. I suppose he thinks we've been pulling the wool over their eyes for 24 months now, but it's just a matter of her working somewhere without direct deposit (I.E. local businesses, wild concept.) We purposefully avoid this bank and just use the app or drive out of our way for another location, despite the extended days/time.I've been trying to be understanding, but it's been years now and the line of questioning hasn't ceased.I don't bank here and once her CC is paid off, she won't either. No banking experience should come with a weird line of questioning about your finances or intent.

Says you are open...not a single branch is open for anyone who has a job. Closing at 4 or just plain not open. Totally unacceptable and I will be finding a new bank.

They never answer the phone. The online banking is confusing. I cant find my account number or routing number anywhere. Customer service is horriblw. Dont try this bank.

Bank of the west has the poorest customer service as a bank in general, but this branch was particularly unhelpful.

Great establishment, the interior is clean and well kept, the employees are all very polite, courteous, and knowledgeable- from the tellers behind the front desks to the managers.
