Very disappointed!!!! Geek Squad very, very poor customer service.
I am extremely disappointed with Geek Squad's customer service! I recently purchased a laptop that needed repairs, so I took it to Best Buy’s Geek Squad. They collected the laptop and planned to send it in for repairs. A few days later, I tracked the shipment through the Best Buy app and noticed there was an issue with the delivery. A week later, I went back to Best Buy for help with the lost package. At first, I was told to call UPS and file a claim myself. After involving more people at Best Buy, they finally agreed that they should be the ones to file the claim. Another week went by, and I called UPS for an update on the claim, only to find out it had been approved. I then reached out to Best Buy Geek Squad to share this news, but now they are telling me they can’t do anything until UPS contacts them and I should expect a call in 10 days.
They will not put any effort to resolving this issue management is no help at all and prefer to hide in the Back!!

Worst customer service of the modern era. Their people are taught to call you a liar, cancel items on your account and blame you for it, proven through a 4hour corporate call, and they'll even cancel your membership when your warranties are about to expire. Their GeekSquad broke more than fixed while saying "I don't know" as if it's the only English phrase they know. Take your money to literally anywhere else unless you enjoy being lied to and stolen from.

UPDATES MADE BELOW: Do not order online. I paid extra for same day delivery, surprise surprise it’s been 5 hours, they’re about to close, and they have no clue where the carrier is. I called the carrier, and they said “Best Buy often doesn’t prepare the order and doesn’t tell us when to pick up”. Both Best Buy and Shipt were not helpful at all. Now I need to babysit my front porch for a $200 item tonight and hope I get my money back tomorrow if it doesn’t show up tonight. Also, the website doesn’t allow me to change to pickup. You’d think this simple process could run a little smoother. I ordered online because going in to this store is dreadful, as you’re either bombarded with staff watching you or completely ignored. Never going through BestBuy again. NOT TO MENTION HOLD TIMES ARE OVER 10 MINUTES I mean come on. I know you’re just letting the phone ring. I bet they go out of business in the next ten years if they keep this up. Absolutely infuriating. You’re welcome for my money, thanks for the awful service in return.
UPDATE now that it’s the next day, magically a shopper has been assigned. Looks like Shipt and everyone else in these reviews were right, Best Buy just didn’t have the guts to tell me it was out of stock yesterday and apologize for not updating the website. What a total joke and waste of energy.
Final update: I got the package a day late, and was told my the social media customer service rep that once you place an order you can’t cancel it. I strongly advise you to never place an order. Even if it suts there waiting for pickup for a month, in the store, you can NOT cancel or change to pickup. Keep that in mind the next time you spend over $20. Absolutely disgraceful business practices

I will not order from bestbuy, they dont mention something us out of stock. I ordered an xbox X it said pick up in store in 1 hour. Placed order and my confirmation said pick up February 15. Its February 15th. Order still says processing. Called bestbuy and they said they are sold out. And my order dont hafe a tracking order yet. .why wouldn't the product state OUT OF STOCK!! Why Let someone order an OUT OF STOCK ITEM!!! Bestbuy update your website correctly. Thus us unacceptable. Now i have to wait for a refund to go purchase somewhere else. What a hassel!!!! Never ordering online from this company.

No customer service!! I called this store to ask a question about a gift card I bought from them and waited on hold for 15 mins just to get disconnected called back waited again for 15 mins and got disconnected. Just to ask a simple question. I have never had good luck at this location which is honestly too bad. Don’t go there to buy anything if you expect to get support after the purchase.

Dear Best Buy,
It's not me, it's you.
I have shopped at this particular BB longer than any other store in my 30 year history in Colorado. I've bought nearly every type of product you sell. And I was always happy and eager to do so. We had a great relationship; hell, it outlasted my first marriage.
But you changed, BB. Somewhere along the way you decided customers are commodities to be used and discarded. You decided that good customer service should be replaced with time-wasting call centers that'll lead you on and hang up on you. Or by employees who will lie to your face, dismiss your issues, or even blow you off entirely.
The trust and loyalty I built up in your store died not when you double-charged me almost $800 for a product I neither wanted nor received, but when you and Citi Best Buy decided to be useless and difficult in helping me resolve the problem. You could've just fixed the issue and we could've remained good friends for a long time. But instead, you chose to be dishonest and condescending.
Note that THE ONLY REASON you have 2 stars is because of Tina from your social media group, who reached out to me after I wrote the first google review (but completely ignored the Yelp review I posted weeks prior...🤔). I had to tell her the story of how I got screwed over (about my 1000 time telling it), but much to my surprise, BB finally refunded me the money. Not before absolutely destroying our relationship though. Not before wasting dozens of hours of my life trying to resolve this. Not before I bought a computer solely for the purpose of building my lawsuit against you. Alas, you did the bare minimum at the last moment to fix the issue, but certainly not the subsequent problems created by it.
Anyway, it brought me joy to call Citi Best Buy and cancel my account stating I cannot trust BB to not illicitly bill my card, nor can I trust Citi to do a proper claim dispute investigation. With that account closed, I am forever walking away from the BB brand. A once very loyal supporter turned staunch critic.
So yeah, it isn't me, it's you. I saw your rotten underbelly, and I very much despised it. We are done. Period. I will never step foot in another BB or waste my money supporting you. Good riddance.

I used the website to purchase a product to be picked up by me at the Longmont Best Buy. The ordering and pick-up process went very well, and the staff at this Best Buy were very pleasant and went above and beyond to secure the item I had purchased. I arrived early, and the product hadn't yet been pulled from the shelf. The clerk was able to speed up the process for getting me my product, which I really appreciated! Excellent experience!

The staff was unhelpful and unknowledgeable when asked questions about the televisions. I was told to look online, so I did and purchased there. It would be nice to have technically savvy employees, not just salespeople.

Went into the Longmont Best Buy on January 15th to see about purchasing a new laptop. Found one I liked, paid with my credit card and then head to the front of the store to make an appointment for the following Saturday. At that appointment we would transfer the info from my existing laptop to the new one. At the Geek Squad area, I was told I would need the Best BUY Total Membership($179.99)and the My Passport portable HDD backup($64.99), which they then had to cancel the order and refund my money, which I hope will really happen. Then we started again to purchase the laptop, the membership and the portable backup. Used my card again and was told the laptop would be delivered to my home on Friday January 17th. We made a appointment for January 18th and to bring the new laptop, old laptop and portable backup, to have my info transfered from the old laptop to the new. On Friday January 17th when the lap was not delivered by 4:15 p.m. I called the Longmont Best Buy and after being hung up on with the first call, while waiting while on hold , the automated system said the order was canceled. Once a person answered and she tried to figure out the problem, the only thing she could tell me was there was a system error. She said I would have to come back into the Longmont Best Buy and redo the order. I asked if she could replace the order for the laptop but no she couldn't handle that. We canceled the Saturday appointment and I will have to go back to your store and start over again. This,will be three times using my credit card and hopefully I will receive refunds for the first two transactions. Needless to say, I am completely underwhelmed. I will go back into the store tomorrow and keep alert there may be a part two to this review.
