Christian Brothers has excellent customer service and very good communication. I brought my car to them with a very unique problem and they did exactly what I requested them to do. Nothing more.

Dishonest work!!! I went there yesterday. I asked them how much a diagnostic was and they quoted 80-160 depending on the car. They charged 160 but from reading the reviews they charge that for everyone. I called a few more places and found that they way overcharged for the diagnostic. They gave me a list of items that need servicing, like changing transmission fluid, and after calling a few more place found they they charge triple for those services. They also filled up my car with gas to see if the problem was fixed and said it wouldn't be more than 20 dollars since I was already 3/4 full. I come to find that they charged 50 for the gas and they used premium. My Jeep doesn't take premium according to the dealership, and you think they would know that. If you go here, you will be severely overcharged!!!

Without going into all the sordid details of what is going on with my vehicle, I just want to say how amazing Travis and team are. I got royally scammed on a used car purchase, and the amount of time and effort Travis put in to check everything, explain it all, and go over my options is so very much appreciated. It was a situation where a very candid and frank conversation was necessary and he handled it so kindly and with genuine empathy. Other family members recommended CBA to me but this was the first time I took my own vehicle in. I will be taking every vehicle from here on out to CBA.Services: Vehicle Inspection

I've never written a bad review but these guys were so bad that I'd like to warn the world. I took my vehicle into the christian brothers in Longmont. they did a brake inspection so they could be sure to order "the right parts". The first time i took it in they called and said they would have to order the parts so i had to bring it back in a second time. This was when they gave me the first "bad news", that the parts would be more expensive than their original quote. The second time I brought it in they told me the job would take a couple hours as they knew i was time crunched. Five hours later they called and said they had a problem. They ordered the wrong parts and would have to get them from the dealer. Moreover, the parts would be over $600 more. They said they could just put it back together but I couldn't afford the time off of work to bring it in a third time. Moreover, since they wasted the bulk of the day away they didn't have time to order less expensive parts. When I asked the "franchisee" for a discount he said they wouldn't give me one. This was in spite of the fact that they mark up parts so they made even more money with the higher priced parts. basically they pulled the bait and switch on me and I got gouged. I would recommend finding a different repair shop. These guys not only couldn't get it right they are dishonest.

In the last 3 months I’ve talked to many shops following a moderate collision. My patience has diminished significantly and have been extremely critical of everything auto related. Travis* A manager called me back as he said he would. He explained things very well. He also had various adequate options, providing pros and cons for each, as well as suggesting his best choice and why. He did all that without me ever even asking him a question! Awesome experience so far! My truck was taken there without my knowledge by another unnamed company. When was the last time someone anticipated all your questions and provided adequate answers to each? Never has that happened to me. I’m impressed. I’ll update this review after assessment of repairs.Update: Truck drives beautifully. Travis is the name of helpful manager I spoke to. Clean, nice looking shop as well. I’m a future customer from now on. I can’t express enough the importance of a thorough repair and explanation. Thanks to the techs as well. I’ll be back with a tip after I recover financially.Services: Steering & suspension replacement

Bring your vehicles here. They send detailed email reports with pictures and explanations that are easy to understand for people who don't know much about vehicles. They work quick and with quality. Their customer service is top notch, and they will keep you updated on the status of your vehicle. They also have a shuttle van to transport you back to home or office, which is extremely convenient. Everyone is easy to get along with and people seem to enjoy working there. Thanks for reviving my truck.

*** STEER CLEAR FROM THIS PLACE- SEE PHOTOS - DO NOT LET THE NAME (OR BIBLES/PROPS SITTING ON THE WAITING ROOM TABLES) FOOL YOU, & DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY GETTING THE RUN AROUND HERE *** After reading a number of positive reviews on Google (turns out Google weeds out the bad ones, so take the positive reviews w/a VERY small grain of salt), , I figured I'd give Christian Brothers a try at fixing my A/C after it went out a few days ago...It would have been so nice to find a local, TRUST-WORTHY repair shop to take my car to, as it normally gets taken to a shop in Broomfield for service (after all, the coupons/marketing material that come to the house make it look like the Longmont CBA is owned by a nice, sweet, honest little family). I also had them take a look at my rear brakes. I showed up for my appointment, and was met by the friendly service manager who explained to me that in order for them to perform the work, they'd have to first run some diagnostic inspections/evaluations first, which would provide insight into what may be the source of the AC blowing warm air. They also performed a brake inspection. The A/C performance eval was for $49.99, and the brake inspection was $49.95 (see photos). They advised that the cost of these inspections would be deducted off of whatever work was determined necessary to make the repairs, and that they like to be transparent about everything. I sat in the waiting room while they performed the diagnostics, and two hours later, one of the service writers came over with an invoice of all of the items (most of these items I didn't ask that they inspect) that they thought needed attention...totaling $8170.50 (see photos- they reprinted the invoice at checkout w/o the total included which I had requested, so I'm including all of it for TRANSPARENCY, as it's pretty easy to add up)...I can't make this up. Imagine going into the doctor for a leg cramp, and having them run CT scans for brain tumors, colonoscopies, checking blood work, and suggesting eye glasses, hearing aids and orthotics ...just because the computer may have noticed something..., and then reiterating that it appears that you have a cramp in your leg; but more tests are needed to figure out what kind of cramps are causing the pain. SMH. It seems that many of these newer car shops invest way too heavily on diagnostics (that they're desperate to get paid for via the customer's banking account), and rely on a computer as a crutch to give them the answers. How about hiring some mechanic SME's who know what's up and are empowered to use the skills they were taught in mechanic school to take charge and get the job done in a timely manner. There was duplication of the tire type recommendations on the invoice (i.e. good/better/best), but removing the two most expensive tire options brings the bill down to $6224.68... I just bought the car for less than 5k from my 76 year old Mom who babied it. The printout was intended to support some text messages of videos they sent. But then the story changed; now, they needed to do yet ANOTHER inspection ("Test & Inspect Lvl 1 (Diag)") for $159.95... BEFORE they knew what was wrong with it. I literally paid $50 for them to stick a thermometer in my vent and make a video informing me that it was blowing warm air- well no S***!...that's why I brought it in (see pic). I am completely baffled that they would outright LIE to me, claiming that transparency was important while delivering nothing but BS and yet another bill for more inspecting before they could even tell me what kind of expense I was looking at. I asked the service manager what the worst-case scenario would be for getting it all fixed, and he gave me the run around, unable to answer a VERY SIMPLE question. This type of smooth-talking BS is what gives these service shops such a bad rap- customers want what he was claiming to sell- TRANSPARENCY, NOT BS he was delivering. He went on for minutes, unable to answer my simple question, until I finally had to inform him

These guys are definitely worth going to. My 15 Suburban was throwing a misfire code on me. After the shop I worked at declined to work on it due to the size I brought it to them as they are a good wholesale customer of mine. I have a very technical mindset and background and they explained everything pretty thoroughly to me. After picking up my vehicle I noticed that my keys were in a secured lock box and my paperwork was tucked away in my vehicle which made me feel like my vehicle was in good hands. Reading over the tech notes, I could tell that the person working on my vehicle knew what had to be done to get myself and my wife back on the road! Thanks, guys. I'll be bringing it back to you!

I can’t thank the team enough. My Isuzu Trooper had broken down on my way home. I had it towed to the Longmont Christian Brothers to assess what happened. Unfortunately it was bad news and the options to fix the vehicle would cost beyond what it was worth. Joe the mechanic had put in a good day and a half of work. Labor rates are typically $100 and hour on average. I would say 12 hours of labor had been applied. I was only charged $490. I want to say thank you to Joe and Brian. It is rare these days to be treated with grace in the automotive repair world. Thank you again. I would highly recommend.Service: Vehicle Inspection
