Firehouse Art Center is Longmont's leading non‑profit contemporary art center featuring national and local artists with over a dozen exhibitions a year. It has three galleries, one upstairs. The real working art gallery offers many different kinds of art and several programs and classes of interest. Visitors find a wonderful quiet respite and take their time, as many things to see take more than a quick stroll past. The gallery always has something unique and affordable local art, making it a great place for kids to take classes and express themselves. A great director and a breath of French air make it a perfect spot for gifts and inspiration.
Knowledgeable staff, great place except for no air conditioning. The stairs are steep and hard to access.

Sweet place in a nice area. It was also a perfect venue for a memorial for my friend who was an artist.

A nice, down home feeling space. We were there when they featured locally produced art themed to the Dia de los Muertos celebration fair. Some of the large pieces had been made by children. All very endearing. Must revisit.
