I didnt think a bank was worse than BMO until I opened an account with First Bank. This one is by far worse.I opened a new checking account in September. I enrolled in the checking account cash bank promo. It comes with a few conditions. I was made aware of this. The first two months I met the conditions, but the third month I asked one of their associates if I could split up the $500/month direct deposit into 2 $250/mo deposits. She said, “sure”. After 3 months and not receiving my bonus I decided to go in and talk to someone.1st visit was to a branch by my house(not where I signed up). Mary was rude, talked over me, and was not friendly at the least. She pulled out a piece of paper with the fine print of the promo and kept pointing to the section where you cant split a deposit. After getting nowhere, I left. I called on phone to speak with Laura, her boss. Same arrogant tone. Went nowhere.2nd visitI decided to go to branch where I signed up. This turned out to be worse than the first branch, proving it is a First Bank problem. I sat down with Marcus. He acted confused the whole time then tries to explain to me I am not getting the promo. I asked well there is still time and can I just put $500 deposit my next paycheck. Then, without informing me he called his manager over, his manager comes over to strong arm me and brings the piece of paper with the promo conditions and points to the part where it has to be $500 not 2 $250 deposits. Then out of nowhere she says “we are closing your account b/c you are not making any activity and just want the bonus.” That almost seems illegal to do being I didnt sign anything and nowhere in deal does it say you have to make purchases. Frustrated I grab my ID and leave. I get home later to check my balance and they deleted my online profile.The next day I went to a 3rd branch and got my money out. I will say as I explained my awful experience to Andy(manager there), he was respectful, friendly, and listened. The teller was also very friendly. I wish I had just started out there.I am just glad to be done with this bank. What a humiliating experience at this branch.Lastly, I have done a bunch of these checking account promos and never had any sort of issue until First Bank. Will never ever recommend business to them and wouldnt put my last penny in their bank.

I was at this location today around 1215. The lady tried to tell me I had $20 less than what I had in my deposit, I had to argue with her because I knew exactly how much I sent through the drive thru teller service, then she sent down the wrong card and ID back to me and she was very rude. I would never come back to this location ever again. I’ll probably actually switch banks after this experience. I bank at Canvas credit union for my business account and they’re 1000 times better, on so many levels. How can you trust a bank that sends the wrong card down to a customer? I plan to end this account ASAP for THIS reason. SO untrustworthy and POOR experience. FIND A BETTER BANK!!!

I had a few items to get taken care of today and was helped by Abel. This man deserves a raise. He was extremely polite, professional, and prompt with his service. I have been a first bank customer for 26 years and have always been pleased but Abel definitely sets himself apart in the best way possible. Thank you.

Personal bankers are very good, but tellers are untrained and the one in charge is quite rude. I am tired of having to see a personal banker every time I go in, because the teller does not know what she is doing. Long lines and long waits to even get to a teller. The travel credit card is worthless; even with a travel advisory it is constantly declined overseas due to the paranoia over fraudulent charges. If it does not work for a visa in an immigration office, what good is it??

Employees are lazy and unhelpful. The place seems racist. Have been waiting for over 30 minutes while employees walk up and down clowning on the job.What a joke of a bank.

I’ve been with this bank fir years. Always great customer service. If I use my card out of state or out of the country they call me to make sure it’s legitimate. I let them know when I’m traveling now. They take care of my vaciando I greatly appreciate it!
