I had the pleasure of working with Steven, Henry and Juan on our project at 233 Main in Longmont. They were professional, detail oriented, always looked out for our best interests and came up with win-win solutions. We were able to turn our in-line retail building into a dynamic corner building that's now a landmark on Main Street in Longmont, CO. I highly recommend LSE and would use them again in a heartbeat.

We started our new restaurant Tiffins 2, an authentic South Indian Cuisine in Longmont, Colorado location last year in November 2022.It was a blessing to have found LSE Builders helping us built our brand new restaurant at Village At the Peaks Mall. Their team was amazing and helped in every aspect to complete the construction on time. Our relation has grown with their team as we look forward to working with them if and when we are ready to start another one..Now, we see them and their team come enjoy our food at the restaurant from time to time and we love seeing them as they are the ones who helped built the business where thousand are now coming to enjoy the meal of the day..Thank you Steven and your team for helping built our family restaurant…

This team was an absolute pleasure to work with as they helped us (Altitude Physical Therapy Boulder) to renovate our new location. They were timely, honest, and easy to reach when needed. They kept us up-to-date at all times and help guide us to the make the best decisions for our project. Be careful with the other positive reviews here - at least one of them is a family member, and they were all left after my negative review; they are likely fake.
Our experience with Steven was pretty terrible; when we first talked to him, he seemed amazing - he seemed very knowledgeable; he was taking over from a different contractor and pointed out all the things they'd done wrong and how he'd do it right.
As soon as he took over and the contracts were signed, everything changed; he cut corners where he could, did not follow building codes, did not correct the mistakes he said the previous contractors had made, tried to avoid getting a permit, and kept information from the inspectors so that he'd pass inspections.
As an example: he used R-11 insulation instead of the required R-13 for 2x4 walls, and R-13 insulation instead of the required R-19 for 2x6 walls. He didn't mention this to the inspector, and when I told him that I wanted it done according to code, he told me that he'd do it as an "upgrade", even though it was what was promised in our contract. When I asked him if he had installed R-11 in the basement, he avoided the question and would not own up to it.
Steven is very responsive and provides updates weekly, which is why at first we thought we'd gotten a great contractor. But as soon as we started taking a closer look and asked him why he was cutting corners, he got very upset and accused us of micromanaging him.
I left him a negative comment online and emailed him saying I'd be more than happy to update them accordingly if he took care of our complaints - he replied back saying he quits, and we're now a month later in the same place we started. After mediation, Steven agreed to pay an amount that was acceptable to both parties & we went our separate ways.

We hired LSE Builders to finish our existing basement. Overall, I can’t say enough good things about Steven the owner and Chris the project manager, as well as all the suppliers and contractors they work with.
To start with, the whole process was very transparent and they use technology effectively in order to share all the bids, invoices, and receipts. Secondly, they performed amazingly well given our aggressive timeframe. Even with delays from the city, they finished the entire project in well under 3 months as promised. This is especially impressive given the very busy time contractors are having right now in the Boulder area.
The finished product includes two additional bedrooms, a rec room, and a full bathroom. The finishing touches, in particular, turned out very well… the tile work, the carpentry, the lighting, etc.
The project went very well and exceeded our expectations. Steven and Chris were both very professional and never hesitated to address any concerns we had. We highly recommend LSE!

We've recently used LSE Builders Group for the repair of our client's inspection items on their home. To the seller's and buyer's delight, all of the items on the list were corrected in a timely and professional manner and at a reasonable price. Some of the items on the inspection were installing fan in a radon mitigation system, some roofing, plumbing, and some electrical. The hardest part of a real estate transaction in the current market is getting 1 contractor who does it all and who will diligently make the time for us within our deadlines. Thank you LSE for a great job!

LSE Builders Group did a fantastic job finishing our new home's basement. 1100 sq ft, bar, family room, wine closet, bedroom, bathroom, workout room, fireplace....wonderful to work with, project management oriented...which means control of cost and schedule unlike other construction companies...highly recommend!
