No curbside pickup available.
Normally when I order curbside, I walk into the store as I feel it's unfair to make an associate walk out to my vehicle.
Especially during the busy holiday season when they've already gathered my items for me.
However, I had come out of the grocery store that night to a suprise dead car battery. Had planned to head over to Michael's after grocery shopping but had to wait 2 hours for roadside assistance to jump my battery.
Knowing I would be risking my car not starting again if I shut it off, I called Michael's and explained the situation, asking if an associate would be available to bring my order to my car and if not I would try to come another day.
The person I talked to said yes, someone could bring it to my car.
When I got there and parked in the curbside pickup spot and called, I was then told the order would be at the front counter, that it was their busy holiday season (said in a shaming way) and they could not send an associate to my car. That if I couldn't come into the store, it would be better to come back on a day I could.
THAT'S why I called BEFORE I went out of my way as I was headed home after a long ordeal with my car.
Could have said it the first time.
Say what you mean, and mean what you say please.
And I don't need to be shamed when I've called ahead of time and asked courteously if it was a problem.
Won't come back to this store.

i love coming here for crafts but it takes FOREVER to check out. They're too lazy to train and KEEP workers so they have to teach their customers the job instead with the self checkouts. every time im in line there's someone that needs help learning how to work the thing. What ever happened to just hiring employees? lord knows there are plenty of folks in longmont struggling to find jobs 😶😶😶

Good selection, good prices, but most things are bundled with more than you need. And things are mostly oriented toward beginners, it is a good place to start. The frames are a good value, though the custom frame are expensive. Service is quick but not always super knowledgeable.

Tammy in the back framing dept. is AWESOME! She helped my wife and I on a couple of our concert poster projects. Her communication and professionalism is outta this world. She understood exactly what we wanted even though I didn't know how to explain it very good. The mat in the photo is one Tammy cut for us and it fit perfectly. Working with her on this has inspired us to quit procrastinating and start tackling the rest of our framing projects.
Also, the prices weren't too bad either. Super close to online DIY prices and it's so nice to be able to see what you are getting in person.
