Per others, it's a mom-and-pop operation, they do good work at what seems like a fair price. They did a great job on my car and, when there was an issue w/a messed up electrical connection after, they were quick to fix it. I will use them again if I have to.

I reached out to Midwest Auto Body to get my driver's side mirror replaced. Rich was great, walking me through the process and working with me to get a replacement mirror painted and installed. They were great to work with!

Do not go here especially in a rush. Made an appointment to get my car fixed and he was late. He then proceeded to spend 20 minutes plugging in his computer. After he had me fill out a form and then asked me to tell him every answer as he typed one letter at a time. At the end of all this he said that we would have to make another appointment for him to actually even look at the car. Then he never even called me or emailed me back. I called Midwest Auto Body for an appointment for repair on my Chrysler Crossfire. It has a couple of scrapes, one on each side. I met with Rich Bauer for the estimate. First off I want to say I really like Rich. He impresses me as an excellent fabricator, and I trust him to do a good job on my car. I got three estimates and his is less than half of the other two bids. All in all Midwest Auto Body is by far the best choice.

Midwest Auto is a little known secret you wish you'd have heard of earlier. Great service. Small shop who does great work for a reasonable price. They have a satellite office in Longmont but the shop is out in Wattenberg. Appreciated their help when it seemed like I'd have to get rid of the car. They worked magic!!

Bri and Richard took such great care of the repair of our 2012 Traverse after we were hit by another driver. They not only dropped me at work so I could get about my day, they also met me at the rental car place in town so that I could return my rental at the same time. They communicated clearly throughout the process. They worked with the other driver's insurance company and made it as easy as possible for me. I would definitely use them again, and recommend them to anyone wanting the least stressful experience after an accident. The vehicle looks brand new.

This is a very caring, local body shop. They do business a little differently than I expected, but delivered top rate customer service, communicated the whole way, worked with the insurance company, dropped me at work when I turned car in for repairs, and met me at the rental car place so I could turn in the rental and pick my vehicle up at the same time. Bri and Richard were great, I would highly recommend this auto body shop.

One thing about Midwest is that the office is one room in a sort of run down looking office in a strip mall in Longmont. They have to drive the cars dropped off at the Longmont office to their shop location in Wattenburg 23 miles away. One advantage of this is that the sales tax is 3% vs. Boulder Co. would be 8% but it's a hassle to be so far away when follow up is needed. The first appt. I asked for 3 quotes on all the various damage to the car. Although we had an appt. I had to wait 20 min before he was ready. When I got home I realized all the areas of damage were not quoted like I asked. I drove back a second time, got a quote and decided to get the car fixed there as they were cheaper than AP Automotive. It took 2 weeks to fix. I was told over the phone that they had to charge $550 more than they quoted b/c of additional uncovered damage. When I picked it up the car looked almost new and the damage was mostly gone. However, I noticed that there were 3 spots of hail damage that I asked to be fixed and thought it was in the original quote and it wasn't. I also found a small bottle of vodka in my car--an unintentional gift left behind from Midwest staff--but made me wonder if they had been drinking while working on my car. I had to drive back a THIRD time to get another quote for the hail damage (I spent 3 hours of driving back and forth to get all 3 quotes) and Richard was 20 min late for our appt. (could have been more if I hadn't went inside and told him that I was in a hurry). They gave me a quote to repair some but not all of the hail damage--why not all? I had to call to clarify what the quote was for as it was very confusing and unclear and was told a follow-up quote would be sent. I asked the quote to list specifically how many dents and locations would be removed since the quote they gave me listed 3 items only and I had 20 dents. I also emailed my request to the person who emailed me the quote. I received nothing. I went to AP Automotive and was given an estimate that was very clear about what would be done, where and how many dents would be addressed and the quote was for ALL of the hail damage not just some. The quote was for $1465. The quote from Midwest was $3,000 just for the roof alone. Midwest doesn't do PDR and they hire it out and charge 10% extra. I regretted not having all the work done at AP Automotive in the first place as overall I felt Midwest lacked professionalism and there were late on their appointments and there were numerous miscommunications and misunderstandings and I was disappointed that I had to pay so much extra than what was on the original quote to get it completely fixed.

I've been trying to get a relatively small issue taken care of for months. They said they could do it, they said they found a part but just needed to double-check it fit my vehicle. I called them initially and they were really friendly and I took my car to their other location, where they looked it over and told me what the problem was. Within a couple hours they found the part they needed to fix it, but they said they had to double check the specs to make sure it would fit because it came off a slightly older car. I waited a week and didn't hear anything, so I called them and asked, they said they still needed to go upstairs and take a look in a book if it was going to fit and then they'd call me. I waited another week, no call. I called, same answer. I waited another week, no call, I called, same answer. I've given up now on this shop. The issue still hasn't been fixed and I'm not closer to having it fixed than when I first contacted them.
