I have been a tenant since extra space and the change over has been nothing but problems. They want you to come to them for paper work and all that but there hasnt been a person you can talk to, the office has been closed for renovation that were not needed and add zero value to me. Being able to access my storage is what i value. Talking to a person when there is a problem is what i value. Its thanksgiving and i was hoping to get some things and go out of town for the weekend but it seems they told the computer that not only is the office closed, but gate access is closed. Or they want me to pay extra. Id say horrible people if there was actual a person here running it, but there doesnt seem to be.

Needed to resolve an issue connected to a different location, and was told that I could come into any Public Storage location in the country to sign some paperwork. I tried calling this location (the closest one to me) in advance to confirm that someone would be here, but the automated phone system would only route me to the other location in a different state. I came during business hours and waited for half an hour, but no one ever showed up in the office. The door is locked (in spite of a sign that says “This door to remain open during business hours”), and while the light is on, it doesn’t look like anyone has been in the office in the past hour or possibly longer. It’s ridiculous that this company doesn’t provide adequate customer service, and now I’m wondering if I am going to have to fly halfway across the country to sign a piece of paper. I will never do business again in the future with any Public Storage locations. This has been such a nightmare, with no end in sight.

Company shut off my autopay wihout my knowledge. Got call from Tammy, came in to the office, Public storage charged $132 in late fees for 3 units. Tammy refused to wave late fees. Business model is simple - SCREW YOUR CONSUMER HARDER AND HARDER during hard times. Would not recommend this storage place to anyone!!
After this review was posted, got a call from Tammy, she went in and refunded all late fees, and asked to remove this review. Tammy gets 5 stars for trying harder. Thank you TAMMY!!!

Implementing new policies without notice, doubling payments, units full of wasp nests. Perfect ingredients for a lawsuit! :)

I have had good luck with the new owners. I had questions on my rental rates and they were very quick to respond and very courteous. The facility is still kept very clean and well maintained. I would recommend them to my friends, family, neighbors, etc.

****** BEWARE******** New Ownership*********
Do NOT use this facility. Things were good BEFORE they were bought. Not only have prices almost doubled but they didn’t even tell anyone about change in ownership. I could always find help with previous owners. Someone was always available in the office or phone to assist you. Can’t get ahold of ANYONE now, not even using the 24 hour number. Bums are often within the gated area and have been approached by them. They now have keypad locks to access indoor units. However, when your unit is in isle H and they give you the access code to isle A with NO WAY to contact anyone. This place is a joke. Save your money and the frustration. Go somewhere else.

BEWARE: THE PRICE WILL NEARLY DOUBLE AFTER 1 OR 2 MONTHS. This storage facility will tell you that your unit will only cost 'X' amount, but after 1 or 2 months, they will nearly double that cost. I'm now on my 3rd unit with this company 2nd unit at this location, and the price they tell you when you purchase the unit IS NOT WHAT YOU'LL BE PAYING. The price will go up and by A LOT. It's a scam because no one wants to move their stuff once they are in the unit. Therefore, they've got you sucked in and will not negotiate the cost after they increase it. Example: my 1st unit $119 a month 2 months later $240. 2nd unit $270 a month 1 month later $442. My 3rd unit i paid 3 months in advance $140×3 $420. The 1st month after my pre-pay was $240. That price they advertise is NOT what you're going to pay.
Then they go and add some big concrete post right in front of my unit, making it impossible to park in front of my unit now and in the way of traffic if I park perpendicular. Its absolutely obserd, inconsiderate, and unacceptable. I will be moving my stuff out if this facility and somewhere else.
