We had issues with bullies and girl drama to the extreme in the school. It got to the point where my child was not wanting to go to school. My daughter's teachers and the counselor did the best they could to mitigate the drama but it didn't stop and honestly it seemed like they gave up in the end. We also tried to get involved with working out issues with parents and were met with defensiveness. We liked the teachers and administration but there didn't seem to be much long term motivation to stay on top of students treating others poorly and the parents we dealt with we're living in a fantasy world in which their kid was angelic and could do no wrong.

I already dislike this school. My kids are in Kindergarten and no one is helpful. My sons teacher flat out told me it's physically impossible for her to watch all the kids in her class. Hopefully this school year gets better.

Niwot Elementary is an award winning school with extremely caring professionals on staff. The CSAP scores rank near the top of the State, and in my opinion is one of the top public funded schools in America.
