I believe the instructors are not true to the Yoga spirit and have no real incentive to teach and guide others. The instructors are rude and bitter if they see you from another race especially the big tall lady instructor who treated me differently than when she was instructing others. Yoga is about peace, Harmony and bringing all together. Not picking and choosing who you like best.

There is no place like Odyssey! The best collection of teachers I've encountered and a community as well. Show up as you are and you will be welcomed into Odyssey with an open heart. Good guidance when needed and the very best way to spend an hour on your mat.

Their good reviews on Yelp are all outdated from about a year ago or more. Came in less than 5 minutes late to an early morning bikram (hot) yoga class. They had the doors locked so I had to wait in 20 degree weather and knock loudly to be let in. A guy who works there told came to the door and told us he would "fast track" us in and gave us waivers. He then proceeded to spend several minutes lecturing us about being late. He asked us to leave our belongings at the door and didn't show us where the bathrooms or lockers were. I told him I would bring my wallet and phone in because I was uncomfortable leaving it in the front. He told me they "don't like cell phones" there and asked me if it could be turned off. I showed him it was off. He then asked us 3 times to wait for the next session, which which would start in 30 minutes. He also criticized what we were wearing and asked us to come back with shorts on for future hot yoga classes. When I tried walking to the class, he literally walked in front of me and body blocked me from going past the front area to the class and asked again if we could wait for the next session, as we were inappropriately dressed in yoga pants (rather than shorts). He asked if I had ever been to flow yoga before (I indicated that I have) and he insisted that I should wait for the next session. When I said we were leaving, he said he was "just giving us options". I realize we were late, but his actions made us way more late and it seemed more like he was taking options away with a dress code and his demands to attend another class. Maybe he would have been kinder if we came early and according to dress code. I didn't realize they had a dress code for bikram yoga, but they should indicate that on their website in order to avoid this situation in the future. They should also mention that doors are locked after a class starts so you are on your own outside of you are late.

I absolutely love this studio! All of the teachers are wonderfully talented and unique in their own ways. I do not take the hot classes but only the warm classes and I am enamored with them. I always leave feeling phenomenal and if you're a newbie don't worry bc the teachers are so understanding if you need to take a moment or feel woozy in the beginning like I did. Very clean and sanitary in facilities and studios. Highly recommend and HUGE bonus that this is a female owned business. Let's support local! I tried it with the intro special at $49 for the first month. I do however really wish they would add a Friday evening class and an additional late class on Saturday and Sunday as well is my only complaint :)

Really enjoy this studio, teachers are so friendly and knowledgeable. Good facilities and like their variety of classes. Love that they offer both traditional hot yoga classes and vinyasa. Great studio to have in Longmont.

A wonderful warm, authentic, yoga environment. Wonderful staff, wonderful experiences. Love to listen to the chants, and to learn and participate in the practice of OMs.
