I’ve been having a problem with an aggressive cat. I went in to see what they had that could help. I talked to an associate named Wolfe who was so helpful and sweet. They gave me several things to try from their store, told me about where I could find other products that they didn’t carry and gave me a lot of really good advice. They were so understanding and compassionate, it really helped me feel better about a situation that I was feeling awful about.

I find this location to generally be well stocked at all times. During this visit they had the special cat food that I needed for our elderly cat. Thanks!

Friendly, helpful staff at the Longmont location. Can’t speak for other locations. Prescription dog food, dry and canned is always available in sufficient quantities. Parking is plentiful. Always a pleasant experience!

We buy saltwater fish/starfish regularly. The employees are personable and friendly. A special shout out to Wolf whom we’ve gotten to know over time. He’s knowledgeable in the fish department and has a love of animals. He’s recently been promoted to dog trainer.
Lisa the cashier is also friendly and enjoyable.

The poor animals are in such small spaces, especially the parrots. They dont look like they are poorly cared for. They dont have space to move around hardly. Hearing the parrot call out in distress broke my heart. Petco, whats the deal.. give the animals more space PLEASE 🙏

I’ve lived in Longmont for a couple years and every time I come to this store I have the misfortune of being helped by an incredibly rude and irate cashier. Usually Petco has kind employees that care about animals. This woman makes it her mission to be as difficult and cold as she can. The first couple times I was confused but after dozens of encounters and watching her interact with other customers before me, she is just incredibly hostile to everyone. Seems to hate her job and everyone who shops there.

Really love seeing people working at a place where they have tons of info and obvious passion in what they’re doing.
I came in to get a new plant for my daughter’s fish tank because I thought the one we already had in the tank was causing the issue, and Ethan was super insightful and explained what the problem actually was, and recommended lots of different plants and methods to take care of the problem. Our fish tank is already in much better shape because of his help. I’m honestly really grateful for people like him working in customer service. Especially after COVID, there seems to be more of a disconnect when you’re out shopping, a lot of people just counting down the minutes until they get to go home, but he went above and beyond and really showed how much he loves what he’s doing, and will truly take the time to help you out with any question or concern you have.
Lisa was also awesome, I always have issues finding my rewards/membership account, and she didn’t hesitate to fix that problem, and make it easier for me every time I come in. I appreciate her taking that extra time to do it, without me even having to ask!
Top notch crew, my go-to store for all my pet care needs.

Staff made it a point to be helpful and courteous, and I quickly got through the line, and didn't feel like I was inconveniencing them when I came up to the register. Awesome customer service!

I visited Petco last night hoping to find cough medicine for my dog. When I asked an employee, who was on the phone at the time, she told me they didn’t have any in stock. However, when I checked the online availability for the Longmont location, it showed they did have some. It’s a bit frustrating.

They need to hire more stocking employees so they don't have giant boxes and pallets of boxes in middle of walk ways.

Hornworms here are atrocious!! For a pet store they got no clue how to care for them. They are always upside down sitting in their own poop. Get it's right guys. Can't sell them that way
