It's really sad how little these people actually care about animals. I was sent here from the Boulder location to get the prescription food that my cat needs. I had my prescription written by my vet with me. They declined to sell it to me because the clinic was closed. I drove all the way out here because the Boulder location told me to. Now the day is over and don't have time to make another plan. My cat won't get the medicated food she needs tonight because of these people. And besides this situation and their uncaring and rude staff (including the "manager"), the store is an absolute disgusting mess. Just don't go there.

Mistreating you and your dog Made a grooming appointment for my older dog, I called yesterday to see how long her appointment may take. The groomer called me back today and said her appointment is at 4 we don't know how long it will take but we close at 6 today . I said perfect, she then said she needed to ask me more questions about my dog. She seemed to be asking over the top amount of questions, she was trying to dig for something. (My dog comes in often to be groomed and even came in a month ago. My dog is calm and never has had any issues) She then asked about medications I told her she has one to help with incontinence. She said hold on and came back and said they would no longer take my dog becuase she was older on medication. I asked to talk to the manager, the "manager" came on the phone who refused to give me her name. I asked for the store manager and she said she was the only manager on staff today and said her word is final and they will no longer see my dog ever. I hanged up the phone and called the regular number where she answered and told me I couldn't talk to anyone else and still refused to give me her name. I was already upset with her refussing to give me her name or another person it just escalated. I called my vet and they said there is no reason for them to deny my dog over this medication and is sending over a letter saying it is fine. I called now 2 other Petco and have talk to Assitance Store / Managers and that this lady doesn't have the authority to deny my dog and that I needed to talk with Alfred or corpoate.

Not even 1 star. They deserve zero star. I been in the store earlier on Sunday because one of my fish died. They do not let me buy another one before I take a water sample. I have 4 fish tanks, so I'm buying numerous fishes to split between 4 tanks. So I drove back home for water samples. I took my daughter with me. We got the store. We were waiting for associate, waiting, waiting, waiting. One employee , I guess she some kinda manager. She short heights, with ponytail, she was wearing blue petco t-shirt with no name tag, just like every single employees. I guess why. So customers can not report them with names. But meanwhile I was waiting, a chubby body type employee was circling around me. She rude to me since I took back death fish to the store several months ago. So the employee with ponytail she said to us, I have to change my mask for a different what is approved with this covid-19 b.s. I said, sorry, I have my own mask. She went to another employee, and told him he can not give me service until I change my mask. She went back to 2 employees, one is the chubby body type and a skinny one. She was pointing to us. I went to them to show a paper from Colorado government website about the mask. They told me, they don't care, it is not effect them, because petco is a private business. I told them , my daughter has rashes on her face because the mask , but she was wearing her mask too but not tight how they want, so I told she has dark skin and it showing badly. They said they don't care dark skin people problem, next time I leave her at home. Wooow... And they told us, id I do not change my mask for their mask, we will not get any service. Okay, we left and went to Petsmart where the employees don't care what kinda face covering the customers are wearing. I told them what happened and they said, they heard a lot about that petco store employees behaviors. What your employees doing to the customers, that is discrimination. The lady with the ponytail and the chubby one, harassing the customers with the mask.

This business is a joke. Hopefully they will be out of business soon. The employees there do not deserve to work in the customer service industry. I will order from Chewy and go to Petsmart or four paws in the future. They obviously do not train their employees and hire any trash off the street. The store is nasty too. STAY AWAY! Go elsewhere.

How many people have to be kicked out of this store before you see a very serious issue with your employees? The people you have representing your company are not professional. They are beyond rude. They have disgusting attitudes with zero customer service skills. I mean really, where do you find these people? I was thrown out of Petco Longmont at 1:15 on 06/07/20 They said it was about a mask but I had already been in stores right next door and everyone else was pleasant. I was approached by two employees in the store who demanded I leave over a mask. They didn't even ask me if I had a mask. Knowing that it is not mandatory I proceeded to grab an item. They said they would not let me check out. One of the girls was ordered to follow me out to my car. While one called 911. The psychotic girl Brea Torres that followed me started making a scene to draw attention to herself screaming she was going to video me and got in my face calling me an ugly,dirty b**** and manyother expletives. She said oh, your one of those people, I'm wondering what does that even mean? She got less than six feet from me. Moved in closer with her phone in my face. I used a defense move and punched her phone out of her hand which hit the ground and she had a bigger meltdown than she was already having. Stomping her feet like a child who didn't get their way. Pathetic! Police came, we talked and they told me that they have no right to follow me to my car. They told me to have a better day. I don't know what the pair was thinking would happen to me. Jail? For walking in a store? I just can't face palm enough at this situation. Being in the law enforcement life knowing that what they were doing was wrong have to sit back and laugh at them and never utilize this mess of a business again. We have seven dogs and have always used this store for our purchases which is a lot of money being spent. Never again will I give any money to this store.

this place is absolutely disgusting. The employees give them selfs 5 star reviews, I found one of the employees Facebook pages and they screenshot the negative comments and make fun of them on Facebook, another employee comments saying how sick she was of the customers and they should "get covid and die" this store also supports fascism socialism and communism, how could anyone want to shop at a place like this. Absolutely sick people! I might have to post the screenshots

I went into the Longmont Petco yesterday, Wednesday the 13th. I don't live in Boulder county or Longmont. I don't know the rules there. I wasn't wearing the required mask. So a dark haired woman in a very rude way told me I had to have a mask. I don't know her name she didnt get close enough to see her name tag. She didn't have to be do rude. I won't ever go there again. She actually yelled at me. I guess this is what Petco lets their employees do to customers.

Was refused service at this location today, while going to get my dog food. I guess they don't care about you or your pets.... Looks like we won't be spending money here anymore. Just placed my usual order on chewy and it was cheaper too. Good luck Petco. So many better options online.

I went to Petco today. One of the ladies who works there was one of the dog trainers she walked up to me and asked if she could help me I told her I was waiting for somebody else to come she then said because of COVID-19 I needed to wait outside for my other party to get there. That really confused me since there were already a lot of people in the store and I saw several others walk in while I was waiting for my other party to arrive. Once my other party arrived I walked in we both had dogs with us the manager who's name is Devin Walked right up to me and said "can I help you, I thought you were asked to leave?" I told him that I was told to leave until my other party got there. He then asked what I was doing there and I said I'm here to look around and shop. The dog trainer then told me if I wasn't there for essential reasons that I needed to leave. She was very nasty to me for no reason. And quite frankly with that kind of an attitude I would not trust her with any dog. She then demanded that I tell her exactly what I was looking for. I then told her I was there to get dog food. She wanted to know the exact brand so she can go get it for me. This whole thing was confusing Because nobody else was being asked these questions. Everybody else was allowed to look around. As I walked towards the aisle where the dog food was the dog trainer followed me and my friend and kept asking her what she was there for and what she was going to buy. We went down four different isles and this dog trainer followed us the entire way one time she was literally within inches of us. I asked her to back up to 6 feet because that is The rule. She stepped back, folded her arms, and gave me a nasty look and went and got her manager. Her manager came up to me and said my employee no longer feels comfortable and you need to leave. She was following us. I will never go back there. I will never recommend anybody to go to Petco. As I was leaving I told the manager that I am there all the time. He then said well I've never seen you and he rolled his eyes. Since this is how they treat their customers I would recommend That nobody ever go to this pet store there are plenty of other ones to choose from the dog trainer should be fired and the manager should be fired. I've never been treated this way and I would definitely not trust anybody to train my dog that acts like that.

So if you are just wanting to shop inside this store to look for treats or bones that you may be out of during Covid-19, the manager and his associates will ask you to leave the store. They only let you shop if you are needing something "essential," which you would think treats or dog bones would be essential. This particular female associate, who happens to be the Dog Trainer there was very rude. She followed me closely (closer than 6 feet at times) while I walked up and down the isle looking for treats. I pulled some bones off the shelf as I continued to look. She got so close to me that I physically started shaking. When she was asked to back off by my friend, she told the manager and we both got kicked out. Do not shop here! We are both filing reports with Corporate today. If you look 12 days ago, you will see another person was kicked out of the store as well. Take your business to PetSMart!!!!

No even 1 start, ( I needed to select 1 start to post the review)I waited like 18 months to see if there was a different staff. It was even worst than ever. I have a 13 years old Maltese. I recognize that she is anxious but other groomers have done a great job with her. For some reason I forgot to save the appointment with her regular groomer for the last 18 months and when I call they only could do it on October 20. So I decided to give it a try with Petco. I could tell the clerk checked for last comments from the last groomer in the computer and she said immediately I think we are not going to be able to do it, your dog hair is very matted. I told her that she could shave her using the smaller number that I didn't care. She responded if we try and we can not we do call you in the first 20 minutes. They called me 5 minutes later to pick her up. The services of this place is very cheesy and it looks that they can only work with the easy pets. Terrible staff and horrible customer service. 9/10/19

Orion is Our Puppies Groomer and is by far the best we have experienced! He has made her comfortable with nail work and we could not be more pleased.

My dog was very happy when I picked him up & didn't act all nervous like he usually does when we take him to the groomers. He looks great & we are very happy!
