Clean isles kind folk and hospitable custom service. Feel like an American consumer here. 11 times better than WalFart or King Poopers. A bit on pricey side of you are making struggle meals, but fantastic weekly deals if you buy doubles or triples. Would definitely recommend if you act like you been there before. Great employees but horrifying business ethics. I happen to frequent this store for my day job. I was overcharged for a sale item and talked to management to return the item for a refund (with receipt) and was issued store credit on a gift card. Later upon using the card, it had a zero balance. Okay no big deal, I called the number and instructed to talk to store manager again. I did so and the one and only option she gave me was to immediately go grab a 3.00$ item and bring it up to get checked out. I was on break and not shopping but okay, I asked for a tobacco product at the reduced rate. Nope, it had to be a 3.00$ item. Okay, I'll get groceries and have 3.00$ taken off bill. "No" she replied again. Why I was treated this way is beyond me. I shop there all the time. Over a 3.00$ overcharge? Unbelievable. The coupons don't ring up right and you get scrutinized at checkout, causing long delays, lines, and angry people waiting on your 0.15$ trial by judge during rush hour. If I were you, I'd shop elsewhere honestly.

I absolutely love Safeway! The Safeway app is a must, and the coupons are given to you based on what you've previously bought. I have done my own price comparison with other stores, and Safeway is hands down unbeatable. The Safeway app has so many ways for you to save money with coupons and a point system, which allows you to convert those points to save money in the store or at the pump. The quality and brands that are sold here are phenomenal! LOVE IT!!!

Not a lover of this Safeway because it is always dirty. The floors and especially self check out is gross. Like no one ever wipes the machines down. I always sanitize when I leave there. People are nice but they really need to clean more.

Not much to say--It's a grocery store, with no necessarily great or terrible aspects. Pricing is designed to be directly parallel with the competition, as expected.

Have a universal Visa gift card with $50.00 on it. I validated it and needed groceries. Went to this location and tried to pay for my $38.00 order with it, but the self checkout station would not accept it. Clerk tried to help, still wouldn’t take it. Said he’ll have to void the order and told me to get better gift cards. What the hell kind of response is that. This Safeway is also rather expensive. I just moved here from Fort Collins and the grocery stores up there, including Safeway, are cheaper. So overall, I wouldn’t recommend this store.

1 star because of the app coupon prices nonsense. plus the terrible cell signal once you're inside. plus the annoying "null and void" close out speaker announcements. so litigious. NULL AND VOID.
edit to add: I appreciate the quick response from corporate. I appreciate the prompt notification that my complaint is heard. I'm in a bad mood and I just spent 30 minutes trying to figure out how to save $2 with the digital coupon rigamarole. And I'm motivated by low prices, not by giving you my consumer preferences data in exchange for normal prices. 1 star for now. Maybe when i'm feeling less angry about the global analytics grift, I'll delete this review.
