Great store in Longmont, great customer services with employees that have been working for years. Great selection and if you can’t find it just ask and an employee will go back and find it.

Meat department is dirty and smelly. Meat packages are bloody and meat is brown. Steaks have no marbling and are too thin.
Go to the Safeway in Greeley, Your Butcher Frank in downtown, or that butcher on Hwy 85.

Well, who ever worked in the bakery yesterday needed a job elsewhere. I was trying to get my daughter different slices of cake. They have them in 2 different places, already sliced and packed. The zombie I tried to talked...3 different different times. I live in Georgia and my dad lives in Hygiene...a few miles from the store. I was suppose to be there, but I don't know how to drive in snow. Anyway, my daughter didn't get here cake. I even talked to the Assistant manager. Nope son, we are nice and helpful in the south. I sure don't belong there.

Disgustingly dirty, out of stock, understaffed. Store director needs to do better. Terrible store. Only reason for the second star is the friendly and helpful pharmacy staff.

Poorly stocked produce, rank looking meat department and no one to check us out. Pretty sure the cart person is the only one working on the weekends. We also asked to bag our own groceries, and the bagger girl refused and everything was carelessly thrown all together and many of our bags weren't used at all...don't be sorry, just fix your store.

This store is a joke, deserves zero stars and not so much the store it self MANAGEMENT! I was humiliated and embarrassed in front of a lot of customers being accused of stealing smh was a horrible experience. I was in there minding my business I have very bad social anxiety so it’s hard for me to shop fast, so I was making my mind up on what I was buying I had my own shopping bag as everyone does now in 2024, this long hair dude walked by my as I was placing some stuff in my shopping bag in my cart, this worker with long hair walked by me and then the rude manager came up to me saying “there’s a camera there you can’t put stuff in you’re bag “ I was like yes I’m paying for my stuff don’t worry, then they both went to the front of the store and stood there taking smack so I put the stuff back cause I was so
Embarrassed and I started having a panic attack , as I’m walking out the manager goes yeah I need to check you’re bag I was like here and he proceeded to follow me and harassed me taking pictures telling me to leave and not come back, and that I supposedly did this all time, super embarrassing in front of customers !!!! I literally cried in my car cause I was so ashamed of what just happened… I felt ashamed harassed and like my persona was affected by his rude comments and assumptions.
I am not the only one that’s been harassed by this employees while being a customer not leaving the point of sale or walking out with out paying I’m very ashamed. I do not recommend this store this was the only time I’ve ever been there I usually shop at other location. Terrible experience. This man had the nerve to follow me all the way out and taking pictures of me for what I don’t know ! I didn’t commit no crime ! He then kept saying some thing about “go get you’re papers “ as I am Hispanic w an accent
I made a complaint with corporate but still haven’t heard back from anyone!

I purchased diapers on Wednesday the 14th. I mistakenly purchased the incorrect size, I was unable to take them back until today. Laura, the “manager” on duty said she would not return them because they are a commodity and its store policy to not return diapers. She wasn’t even nice about it, she was short and quick to have a snotty attitude about it. She says that diapers are a commodity, let’s talk about how food is also a commodity in this economy. This is an unopened box of diapers that I purchased with proof on my credit card. The fact that I can’t do an EVEN exchange is absurd. I don’t want any cash, I don’t want it returned on my card, I just want the same exact diapers in a size up. This is horrible customer service.
**Update, I called the Ken Pratt location and explained what happened at this Hover location, Marg was wonderful and said to come in to do the exchange no problem. When I went to the store, David and Travis helped get it accomplished again with no problem. I have to truly emphasize how idiotic this store “policy” at the Hover location is. With the utmost confidence, even though I live in walking distance of the Hover Safeway, I will never go to this store again. And I will also make sure my friends and families avoid this store. It’s a true pleasure that I will now go to a grocery store that serves their customers with respect and decency. I’m all in following and understanding policy but this one does not make sense and I believe this “policy”was instated by management because it’s extra work and the way this store is obviously ran, they would rather skip that effort. That all said, there are some kind employees that work at the Hover location but I’m sorry they have to work for such misguided management.
Thank you Ken Pratt Safeway for helping myself and my family.

I was in to get groceries and definitely had a lot more than 15 items but when my parter and I went to the single register that was supposed to be open (out of at least 6) there was no cashier in sight. We decided to check ourselves out instead of waiting indefinitely since there wasn’t a line at the self check out, and as we were finishing up Stephanie came up to us and made a snide comment under her breath about having over 15 items. I get it we definitely did but the way she went about it, was very passive aggressive, next time say what you mean. And the situation would not have happened in the first place if there were enough people doing their job. I don’t want to have to do your job for you either but here we are…

Never enough cashiers and self checkout kiosks are always busted.
Edit: Baskets! I have never entered this store to do a full grocery load. Where are the handheld baskets for those of us picking up a few items?
