I recently had an outstanding experience with Gold Market Diamond Jewelers, and I can't praise them enough, especially their owner, Joe, who was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. I had a ring that needed resizing from a size 9.5 to a size 6, which was an incredibly challenging task due to the significant alteration required. Just called to find out the pay out per gram of gold and was told a low pay out at 17$/g. I was trying to ask why when the rate is much higher by what I read on the internet and instead of letting me finish my question. I was told to just go sale it in line then. Very rude and impatient worker. Just lost a sale over poor customer service relations.

I came to Gold Market Diamond Jewelers with a request to have an additional wedding band created and added to my deceased mother’s wedding set so that I would have a wedding ring that was uniquely mine, as well as a sentimental history of having been my mother’s. It turned out to be a more complicated endeavor than I realized due to the fact that mom‘s wedding set was much older and it took more effort to match the band to the original set. Rose took excellent care of me, communicating consistently with me all along the way as well as sizing and soldering the wedding set for me. I am very pleased with the end result and recommend Gold Market Diamond Jewelers highly!

Joe and Rose are amazing. I have gone to them many times over the years and have always been delighted. Most recently, Joe worked with me to redesign my engagement ring. He found a diamond in my price range and worked with me on the design. In addition, they have resized my rings and re-plated my white gold. I highly recommend their services!

Joe created the most beautiful ruby and diamond pendant and earrings using my wedding rings and a broken bracelet. I asked him to make something special after my husband passed and I couldn’t be happier with the jewelry he designed. It was a pleasure working with him and now I have these beautiful pieces representing 43 years of marriage. I will cherish them forever.

I want to start by saying that I found both of the people I worked with here to be very nice and personable. However, I will not be returning and I feel at least misled if not just cheated. I have a number of items that need repair in my jewelry and I am doing some clearing out before a big move.So, noting that the website offers 15% more for metal sales if you apply the money to a purchase or repair, I brought in one of my rings that needed repair as well as a few pieces of gold and silver to sell. I figured I'd sell the gold and silver and see how they did with the repair, to determine whether I'd bring my other items.I had already given them my ring and discussed the repair when the metal was all weighed and the price quoted. I asked about paying for the repair and the owner said that the metal would be a "credit" that could apply to the repair. But, when he wrote the "credit" on my receipt, it was the same exact amount that I had just been quoted -- without the supposed 15% extra. I assumed that there was a system for this and I don't like to fuss, so I didn't say anything.I did ask for a ball-park figure on the repair, since I'd been expecting a bit more for the metal and was starting to think this might not be the best idea. I was told around, but no less than $75. That took me aback as well, since I've had similar repairs in 14k done for about a third of that. But, I figured, I had already given them the ring and I'd still be getting a nice bit of cash for the metal.I went back to pick up my ring this evening and the woman had forgotten completely about the metal sale -- which was fine because I had the receipt. But, she applied only what was written and never added the 15%. She then told me that the cost of repair was $120!! (more than 150% of what I'd been quoted). Thus, using up the bulk of the money I had made from the metal sale. Moreover, looking at the ring in the store it seemed dull, so I figured it needed a good cleaning -- which it did -- and it is fine now. But it is rather unprofessional when you are charging greater than $100 for a repair to not polish the item. And, while I was cleaning it at home I noticed that the back side had been significantly marred! I assume this happened when sizing after the repair, but again.... incredibly unprofessional to not own up to that. I'm just grateful that none of the silver marks were damaged.Anyway, I won't be bringing my other items. I think that this is a very nice store if you are into Pandora, but they certainly don't seem to value vintage Taxco or other "Art" type pieces.

I've gone in a few times with questions and they were both extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I then went in again with a necklace needing to be untangled. They fixed it within 30 min and then again for free when I needed something done to the same necklace. They seem very trustworthy and honest.

I had several jewelry pieces that I requested quotes to repair. Unfortunately one item was repaired w/o my consent. Had I had the opportunity to receive a quote for this piece, I would have chosen not to have the work done. And when I picked up this item, I asked Joe if he would work with me on the price due to the "miscommunication" on their behalf. Instead of working w/ me, he apparently felt that tasteless jokes would diffuse the situation. Then he told me his car repair was very expensive and he wasn't afforded the opportunity to approve or disapprove the quote. So, two wrongs make a right? Not in my book! Joe's flippant remarks only exasperated the situation.

I had my fathers necklace containing ashes break and I took it here. They did a great job replacing it! Not to mention when it broke unexpectedly they fixed it at their guarantee. Definitely a great jewelry repair!

I recently had an appraisal done on my Tanzanite ring flanked by Champagne diamonds. As with previous appraisals I received from the owner, who is also a Graduate Gemologist, it was very thorough, addressing all pertinent areas to this extremely rare gem(s). An example is the color, which is very key to value. The actual color, as well as degree of saturation, were specified. A picture of my ring I was attached to the appraisal. Even my Insurance Company compliments his appraisals. I recently moved out of Longmont, but took the ring to Gold Market The ring is also being sized by this gifted Gemologist. He is remarkably knowledgeable! He & I are both “Gem Geeks.” I pushed him to share how many attempts it took for him to pass the Gem Identification Test, required to become a Graduate Gemologist. He passed it the first time, which speaks to the depth of his knowledge.I will only take my gems to Gold Market. Highest integrity, friendly, inviting environment!!
