I don't normally leave reviews, but I read several negative reviews of the staff/ customer service at this Walmart pharmacy on 17th, and I am compelled to counter that I had an extremely positive experience.
I called late, within an hour or so to closing, and Guy was kind, patient, even cheerful. Really, at the end of a long shift dealing with the public? He gave me all the information I needed, corrected an error that *I* had made because of my foggy thinking due to my feeling extremely ill, double checked with his manager, and wished me a quick recovery.
So ignore entitled reviewers who insist on instant gratification of their demands. Give this place a chance! Ask for Guy haha

Damian did a fantastic job. I went to the Walgreens on North hover around 9am. There were 3 people standing around in the photo area and they said they couldn't take my passport photo until after 2pm. I asked why and she said they didn't have anyone to take it 🤔 obviously I was puzzled by this response with the fact that Walgreens was paying 3 associates to stand around 1 on their personal phone. When I went to the Pace location Damian did not hesitate to take my passport photo and did a wonderful job. Highly recommend coming to this location if you need a passport!!!

We have been using this pharmacy for a year and a half now. Not a single time have they called us when a prescription is ready. Every single time we have to call them for an update after hours of waiting, and they haven’t started on it yet and say they will get it ready asap… and we have a toddler in daycare so we have had a good handful of prescriptions in this timeframe. I don’t feel we should have to call the pharmacy to get started on a prescription.
This weekend was the last straw, our kiddo has pink eye and after 5 hours of not hearing from the pharmacy, we called and they informed us that they were out of stock and can’t fulfill our prescription. Why did no one tell us this? We ended up having to drive to Lafayette at the last minute to get our prescription filled. As you know, time is of the essence with antibiotics and we wasted almost 7 hours of our kid not getting antibiotics in his system b/c this Walgreens is terrible. We have finally switched to a new pharmacy and away from the Walgreens chain all together.

I am extremely disappointed with the Walgreens pharmacy service regarding my dog’s prescription. My dog is battling cancer and is very ill, so getting his medication promptly is critical. The prescription was sent to the pharmacy on Friday, Saturday after work I stopped by to get it and they said that they needed my information to get it ready and they made me go home and go back the next day, (they were about to close) and they had all the information they needed since Friday!!
However, when I tried to pick it up on Sunday (10/06) around 11 AM, the experience was incredibly frustrating.
The staff, especially the cashier Susan and the pharmacy technician, were very rude and dismissive. The pharmacy technician wouldn’t even make eye contact or provide a proper response when I asked for an update. It felt like they had no concern for the urgency of the situation. This was by far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had, and it’s especially heartbreaking when it involves the care of a sick pet.
Walgreens needs to seriously improve their customer service and show more empathy for their clients.

I don't know what they changed but the pharmacy's response time, answering phones, and answering questions has improved significantly in the past few months. Employees are nice, and answer my questions without making me feel like I'm the problem. Whoever they hired is doing a great job and should get a raise!

The customer service at this particular location is terrible. The pharmacy is short staffed and there is never anyone at the register to check you out at front.

The pharmacy staff here is the worst. They do not care at all about customer service and religiously get my meds wrong. I’ve had them loose prescriptions, give the wrong meds, give me a hard time abt needing an asthma inhaler refill, and the list goes on. Also one can never get a pharmacist on the phone that’s at the store. Terrible business. I will be using Costco pharmacy going forward

BY FAR THE WORST AND I MEAN WORST PHARMACY SERVICE. THEY TREAT YOU RUDELY. Very very SLOW! WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE. Just aweful

Terrible Customer Service by Wallgreens' Afternoon Cashier
I recently had the misfortune of encountering the afternoon cashier at Wallgreens, whose deplorable attitude, arrogance, and complete disinterest made for an absolutely horrendous customer service experience. Her lack of professionalism was truly astonishing. However, I must give credit to the exceptional service provided by two young men who were also present. They stood out as shining examples of what great customer service should be.

Would not accept my zip code to collect my Walgreens rewards, and denied me $5 in rewards because their system lost track of my information. This Walgreens owes me five bucks.

Went in there and the lady told me.inhave to have an appointment for the 20 dollar flu covid test. There was no one there and no one in the drive through with a bunch of people who went behind the counter. Told the lady I didn't care about getting the test for free. Still wasn't good enough. Laziness. You guys have lost over half your value. Your the worst performing stock in the Dow Jones industrial complex. I think you need to be better to your customers. Edit: went from 2 to 1 star.. went in the next day. They are all just lazy. the third party you use for the testing gatekeeps a flu test. It told me to call 911 but I walked in there clearly okay. They said they couldn't do anything. Yeah no way a failing business such as Walgreens can't help you. They just won't.
