Had a great experience with my brakes and axle repair. However, when I took the car into another shop for a different repair they noticed the axle parts were after market and not installed properly, costing me another $1500 to repair. I trusted these folks would install quality parts and pretty disappointed to learn about this.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Honest, fair priced, and good to women. Had them recommended to me by a friend and I have felt completely respected, which I don't in a lot of car shops as a woman that has no interest in cars. Love this place, cannot recommend enough! Has kept my Prius going for two 500 miles road trips and I will continue to use them

Recently had check engine light come on after a botched oil change at Walmart in Broomfield (I'm reviewing them next). Was hoping big o could just read it for me. They said I'd have to leave it all day and likely charge me $149 to read code. I understand, they're busy and have to draw boundaries. Fine. But it's a business choice that doesn't leave one with that local-hometown-customer-service sort of feel. I felt like a number caught in a corporate machine.Come on, it literally takes two seconds to read a code. $149?Went down the street to Louisville Tire and they were happy to help. They read it for free and advised me on what it might mean.Sure they didn't make any money from me this time but where do you think I'll go when I need some work done? Not going to big O tire for so much as an oil change, I can tell you that. I'll go to Louisville Tire.Always seem friendly, welcoming, helpful and honest there.

As auto shops go, Louisville Tire is on the honest side. I’ve been ripped off before but not by these guys, and while the service comes at a premium, I never felt cheated.Their work is quality, and they offer a lot of services that many other auto shops no longer offer- recycling oil for example.Local auto shop with responsive service and quality workmanship, 9/10.

We've been taking our vehicles to Louisville Tire for years. I am always impressed by their honesty and pragmatism.Today I picked up my vehicle after they replaced the alternator. I was expecting to pay $600 but Bobby (manager?) checked our records and discovered that Louisville tire replaced our alternator 4 years ago. The alternator had a lifetime warranty so they only charged us for labor. He could have easily charged us the full $600 and I would have missed it.They also identified another issue that could be fixed for $100 or a piece of tape. He supported our decision that a piece of tape would be sufficient for a 14-year-old vehicle.I have many stories of times that Louisville tire has talked me out of doing unnecessary automotive repair. I will keep coming back and recommend them to everybody.

I recently had to deal with a fuel pump failure on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I got a pretty high quote from the dealer. I reached out to Louisville Tire & Auto based on a recommendation from my son-in-law. They provided a quote for about half of what the Jeep dealer quoted.Mike was fantastic to deal with - extremely courteous and professional. I had the Jeep towed in on a Tuesday and he said they would finish by Friday - shooting for Thursday. I got a call Wednesday afternoon that they were able to complete the repair work. Needless to say I was extremely happy with the entire experience. That was my first experience with Louisville Tire & Auto - I will definitely be back.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I have to tell a little story here as caution in using this place for anything other than tires and maybe oil changes. I brought the car in for an oil change and to fix a slow leak in the left front tire. It turns out the leak was due to a loose valve core, which they installed a couple months prior. No big deal. Mistakes happen I guess. They also diagnosed a bad battery. Rather than buy their battery and pay for labor, I decided to do it myself. After swapping it out, I realize my battery is only a year old. So I have it tested at both the store I bought it from and the store I bought a new battery from. It tests good in both cases! I call them up and ask how it's possible that it tested bad for them, and just get a response that it's possible it had a bad connection to the tester. Sorry! Ok, so this tells me the shop policy is "Rather than take a minute and test the battery a second time on a year old battery, just charge the customer for a new one." Sloppy! Due to that shop policy, there's no way I can trust these guys to do anything more than tire changes, and clearly that's hit or miss.
