This place is terrible! wrote a review a week ago because I was going thru my things and got a call from the last who callee my things junk and told me to get it cleaned up because they have building inspections and I told her I was sitting and going thru my things mind u I have 2 units and have had no problems until now with these people a week after submitting my reviews now I am locked out of the facility from both units in being forced to move out with a month to do so no money to do so and I have an hour to get my things from 2 units with adult supervision then they lied on there report and said I was living in my unit and there was trash everywhere funny thing is how is that possible ive been in Nashville for a funeral and we were sorting thru things daily because when i moved in i had limited time to do so I will b contacting a lawyer and I have about 6 or more people who were with me daily that will say the same u have cameras also that will prove it as well munud the one thats been broke and what about the peoole whose units got broken into the gate was cut and noone did anything and the guy told me that peoole break into units a lot sad as hell

Extremely rude staff including management. Owners are all to blame. Terrible business structure. Poor customer service. 15 year customer paying 25% + more than new customers. Went downhill after RedDot bought out the Mom & Pop facility. RedDot has rapid reoccurring increases monthly. Errors in their platform and emails constantly. I highly recommend thinking twice before you spend your money here, this company does not deserve what you work for.

I recently went online and rented a storage unit at the Red Dot Storage facility at 9651 St. Charles Rock Road St. Louis MO 63114. My first visit to the facility to put some things in the unit was Friday January 20, 2023. After difficulties gaining access to the unit, and 45 minutes on the phone, they moved me to a different unit and I was able to remove the lock and open it.When I left, the instructions were to put their lock into the "lock box" by the gate. When I dropped the lock into the "lock box", it opened up. I took a picture of the open "lock box" in case they tried to charge me for not returning the lock. In addition to these episodes, the gate that is supposed to have "controlled gate access" and ensure your belongings are "safe and secure" has never been closed since Friday January 20, 2023, and I am writing this review on Wednesday January 25, 2023. I have called numerous times, and am told "the pin pad is broken and will be repaired as soon as possible". Really ??? I have also sent emails asking that someone contact me and have had no response. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE GOING TO MY STORAGE UNIT. THERE ARE PEOPLE WANDERING AROUND IN THERE. Next time I need to go to my unit after dark I will contact the police and ask them to accompany me.

My unit became infested with Brown recluse spiders and roaches! They charge you for anything they can. I will not use this location again!

The neglected to main security. Gates and doors not secured. Did not notify customers of thefts occurring in units. My unit (indoor) supposedly secure was wiped out by vandals and Red Dot doesn’t seem to care.

Most terrible experience ever. We got our unit in December of 2021. Now October of 2022. We have never had a working gate access code and was barely able to even get our stuff into the unit. Since then we have never had access to our unit and only get a help line to assist us who just gives codes that never work to gain access to the building. Multiple times of being on the phone for hours trying to gain access during normal business hours and they just say they will call us back and never do. On top of the ridiculously high price of storage for what you get there is no service to actually help to get you access. After multiple uhaul rentals and moving company costs to go there to retrieve my property we have gained no access. Once I leave and try to call again they say you should have access now but when present I never have access. I requested to set up a date and time and appointment to guarantee I can 100% get access to my unit and they would not do that. They have padlocks on secondary gates and when a request to gain access through these points they have declined while I am on site. Once I leave and call on another day they assure me I can get access through secondary locations but once on sight I still have no access. 100% would recommend just leaving your stuff on the side of the road vs using this company as they make no true effort to help you. I wish corporate had a number so I could possibly get more help.

One star is not low enough for this company.I have been at this facility for many years long before Red Dot took it over..Since they took over the facility; service and customer help and attention has went down the toilet.They eliminated an on site manager to help the customers. It's extremely hard to get any kind of service from them.Security lights were out for clise to a year before they were fixed.They closed and locked the customer rest room. Now there is nowhere to go to the rest oom.They took away the dumpster that the customers could use.There is a bad rat problem in the units to which they've done nothing about. I've trapped over 40 rats in a little over a months time just in my unit.The gates and doors are frequently broken allowing anyone or anything in or out.They've frequently raised prices to the units.They just sent me a message that they're raising the rate $64 a month starting in October. To me at this time is price gauging.I tried to pay my August bill today to at least catch up. They would accept the payment unless I paid in full today for both months. To me, this is wrong to not accept what I can pay.I will be moving out as soon as I can possibly work things out.Red Dot Storage is a very bad storage place to deal wirh.I don't recommend anyone renting a unit from these people.

I had a unit in Streetsboro, OH. SEVERAL units have been broken into in all buildings including my own! These units are not secure as the ceiling is made of chicken wire fencing. This has been reported to the local sheriff who stated there has been an ongoing investigation for months, took 2 weeks of calling to even get though to red dot who told me there was no working cameras on the property. Needless to say I have vacated the unit, also there insurance hotline has been of no help in compensating me for stolen items.

I used this red dot for a short while in Litte Rock, Ar.I then cancelled my storage when I was done with it, before my firstmonth bill. Since then they have sent me late fees and collection fees and continue to charge me a monthly rental fee, even though I moved outand cancelled my unit. I have made several attempts to contact themand resolve the issue but, apparently they have no answers. This is the worst storage company I have ever seen. Very crooked. They need to be shut down. I will be usingPublic storage or Cube smart from now on.

If I was able to give this place no stars then I would. I have/had a unit in Monroe, Mi and I cannot believe what they did to me. My unit door was hit by a snow plow in the beginning of February (it is now the end of may) the door was knocked off the tracks, my stuff in my unit exposed and my dryer was damaged. I tried calling and speaking with a supervisor and I have been waiting for 3 days for someone to contact me. The only reason i found out this happened was because my my mom and dads washer broke and i said they could have the one in my unit..after renting a uhaul and everything my dad found my unit like that and called me.. even after taking the lock off i cannot access MY THINGS because the door is completely broken.Luckily I have insurance on it but the insurance company was more helpful then Red Dot was. The lady on the phone told me "how do you know it wasn't damaged the day before....well because the records show that it happened in February. I went up there and the new guy working there was nice but even he felt bad for me. He basically told me that they have been waiting on me to come take my lock off so they could fix the door...um...for 3 month's!! No one even tried to contact me...not by phone or email...nothing. I will be getting my stuff and taking it somewhere. You better believe red dot WILL be giving me my money back Feb-May and paying for any damages to my stuff. My number is on file and I am a paying customer who has always been on time with payments. How dare them not try and contact me when the unit I AM PAYING FOR get damaged with my stuff exposed to rain and snow and bugs and other elements. So disappointing and disrespectful!!! I do not recommend bringing your stuff here!!

I was over charge and than told I had to wait 2 weeks for a paycheck when they had no problem taking over $400 out of my account! Getting the unit was a headache. Kiosk in lobby didn’t work and than I had to make multiple phones to get the unit and to find out I wouldnt get a refund for another 2 weeks. Be careful when doing business with them. Worst experience ever! They didn’t offer anything besides their apologies for the inconvenience which does nothing for the situation I am in.
