I personally like to rent my trucks from here versus Uhaul. They are quick to help you and get you on the road. They even reset the time if you have to grab some stuff beforehand!

I didn't think it would be possible, but with the closure of their only competitor next door, they care even less about customer service. If they would pay their employees more they might be able to hire some additional people. That doesn't keep them from jacking up the prices, of course.

This place has really really bad customer service in the auto/tool rental section. A group o teens or young dudes that are on their phone constantly and seem either high or just exhausted. Don't know how to give proper hours of operation for rentals over the phone, are kinda rude and overall a group of meat heads. The customer service center of the store was ok, the ladies were nice enough.

Worst customer service..EVER!! This is the first review I have ever written, and I have spent the time to sign up to Yelp to write this. I called for someone to check a product on the floor and they nobody was willing actually walk to the aisle and check if it was available. I am a contractor of 20 years and go here 2 a day, and never have experienced such incompetence. Home depot might consider paying their peeps more so they get out of their chair and actually be of assistance. SHAME!

If you are renting something for an important event, such as a generator for a wedding, be careful. The manager and rental department won't guarantee your rental in any way. Even with 2500 stores, they think it's fine to take a reservation without necessarily honoring the reservation!

Home Depot has a large selection, good displays & good help (once you seek it out). GO ASK SOMEONE! They have a very liberal return policy as well. If the package is still sealed, it goes right back, full refund. Good selection.Home Depot will do rough cuts on lumber purchased there.

Sharon in the window and blind department is the best and needs to be recognized for all her hard work at her job and all the kindness that she showed us. I wish every experience in retail would be this warming and pleasent! We left feeling not only that we had been helped and that she went above and beyond. We left with happy tears in our eyes to be able to meet such a kind and helpful person! I am not joking when I say she is the best and deserves more than just to be reconized! She is FABULOUS!!!

I have never had such a terrible experience. I ordered countertops and had terrible service from start to finish. I was never informed that the stone I selected was back ordered. After waiting months, I called the stone fabricator to confirm that my installation, which was due to take place in less than 48 hours, was confirmed. Only then did they tell me they did not have the stone and had no anticipated delivery date. I had to choose a new stone, and waited again for installation. Again I called two days before installation and was told that the stone had broken during fabrication the previous day and the new stone was back ordered as well. I understand there are back orders right now, my problem has been with the communication around my order - they never reached out once about any issues, I only found out about any of the problems after contacting them. Additionally, there were huge delays in the response time when I reached out and conflicting information given to me. I finally have countertops after hours and hours of phone calls and emails and many delays. My appliance delivery and contractors had to be rescheduled multiple times as well. Save your money and sanity and look elsewhere.

I needed a new battery for my drill. They have them locked in a cage. Fine I'll just get a employee to open the cage. The only problem is there is maybe 2 employees there. One was making keys for the entire 20 minutes I was there and the other would not leave the self checkout even when no one was there.

I am so frustrated with the Home Depot on Dillon in Louisville. I came in Thursday July 8th to purchase several appliances on their appliance sale for a new build we're doing. I met with Doug in appliances and specifically discussed a range and several appliances I needed. The range was on the website ON SALE for $800 less then the original price. Doug suggested he "work up" several options for me and would get back to me with them so I could purchase. I asked when the sale ended and he said July 14. He even wrote that date on his card for me. I acquiesced and said I would would wait even though I was ready to purchase $15k worth of various appliances. He wanted to work up the best options for me so I agreed to wait. He committed to emailing and calling me as a follow up. I didn't hear from him so I came into the store July 11. Doug was out sick and wasn't here. Now the pricing switched on the website and the higher priced range is now "not on sale" even though their employee Doug affirmed with me that it would be (this specific appliance was the main reason I was purchasing the appliances from Home Depot). Doug dissuaded me from purchasing on Thursday and now the price of the one appliance is $800 more. I spoke the the manager on duty Brea. She then spoke to the Store manager Ashley who informed me there's "nothing she could do to honor the price" that her employee said would be maintained. I find that an interesting response from the store manager. I am building a house and have numerous purchases to make that will now not be made at Home Depot because of this. If I could give a zero I would.

This rating is for customer service policy. I checked out a wagon full of stuff at the garden center exit. After paying I noticed I was charged twice for a $51 item. I brought it to the attention of the carless clerk. She said the only way to get it credited back was to go to the customer service desk!! Me and my wagon had to go back to the center of the store, wait in line (only two people there and one is forever on the phone). After some time got my credit applied and had to trek back to the garden center exit since my car was just outside the door. They must hate their customers. By the way, during all this trekking a small wire brush, I already paid for, must have fallen through the wagon slots.. never saw it again!
