Everyone be overreacting. This place was 10/10. I mean come on grow up the skates didn’t “give you ankle and foot problems.” Me and my kids love it there unlike you wimps. So everyone take a chill pill and breathe. Find your inter zen. ? Thank you. Everything was amazing. Tis the season!

Today was too warm - the ice is choppy. But my daughter had a blast! Very affordable & gorgeous town.

The rental skates are extremely uncomfortable and painful on my ankle bones, despite trying their different models. They also haven't been sharpened in ages and don't have any edge to speak of.

Used to love this place! But the rental skates hurt REALLY bad. Not worth the $10. They pushed on my ankles so much that I couldn’t skate 2 laps without needing a break and gave up skating after 30 minutes. The skates used to be better but now I can’t see myself coming back to this rink.

Cute little rink in downtown Louisville. The adult skates were so painful that one person in our party decided not to go. My feet hurt for a day after. However, the kids had a blast and the skate push things really helped them build confidence.

Nice place, though a little small. I will say, the rental skates were absolutely unbearable. Jabbed into the ankles and could really only skate for 30 mins. Maybe worth the $10-13 but would not go back unless I had my own skates.

I really like the atmosphere and vibe of this place, but the rental skates are terrible. They really hurt my ankle bone no matter how I adjusted them. They really should bring back the old lace up skates!

Rink is in a cute, convenient location close to downtown Louisville restaurants. Unfortunately as others have pointed out the rental skates are terrible and hurt our ankles. Maybe if we owned our own skates it would be worth the high price but otherwise it's not worth it.

GREAT place to hang with the kids! Rental skates could be a bit more comfortable. Ankles hurt the moment you put them on ?

Fun. I’ve got crowded but people were friendly and courteous of new skaters.

This place used to be quite nice and charming but the new skates are absolutely terrible. They need to switch back to whatever they were using before this season or make it more clear that you should bring your own skates. The skates are excruciatingly painful around the ankle area and when brought to the attention of the staff, they suggested that it was the “specific pair” and to try another identical pair but that did absolutely nothing given that it’s just a bad design. Additionally, the ice quality is horrible. I get that it’s a small rink outdoors in Colorado but there’s no effort to remove the “snow” buildup on the ice which makes it unskateable. $30 for 10 minutes of skating ?They also removed the portable restroom that they used to have which is incredibly annoying

The rink is definitely on the smaller side, but I went on a Thursday evening and didn't have too much trouble with it. Great for the price - $10 admission includes skate rentals. They also sell hot drinks and some snacks on site. A fun start to the Christmas season in a beautiful festive town, so no complaints from me

Skates are awful. For adults I would call them 100% unusable. I couldn't even stand with my initial pair. When I mentioned it the first time, they replaced with a slightly better pair and then was only able to use them for about 10 minutes before the pain became too much. They push in on your ankle bone. The kids (8 & 10) were able to use them for about 45 minutes before it was hurting them too badly. Nice to have an outdoor rink, but if it isn't usable, it isn't worth anything.

Cute little outdoors rink smack in the middle of downtown Louisville - lots of places to eat/drink before or after. The only problem we had were the cheap rental skates. They hurt our ankles so badly we could not even venture out onto the ice. Saw one lady taking her skates off with a huge blister on her ankle. Asked for a refund and received it. In fairness, lots of other people were using the rental skates and seemed to be having a good time, so maybe we got some of the bad ones. Hard to say.We will go back, but with our own skates.
