“My mother went through over four years on Medicaid and in skilled nursing home care. As part of the process, she purchased a pre-need cremation policy to take care of her when her time came. The pre-need cremation policy and contract process helped me plan for my mother and to make decisions while there was no urgency or grief to deal with. She passed away recently. Viegut was outstanding at transporting her to the funeral home within a couple of hours of her death (and informing me of the status along the way), meeting with me to confirm the final arrangements and to review coverages and selections, and then providing me with death certificates and cremated remains.
