I’ve had to bring a car to Gerber three times over the last five years due to an accident not of my own fault. Dealing with someone else’s insurance, the chaos around dropping off and picking up a car, and the general inconvenience of an accident is brutal.
Gerber helps rip the bandaid off with the least amount of pain. They work directly with the insurance company, arrange rental cars with rides to and from the rental facility, and give daily updates on the repair status.
The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and relatable. You get that small business feel that does business with honesty and integrity. I’ve always felt they do business with full transparency. They don’t tell you what you want to hear. They tell you what you need to hear, even if it’s not ideal.
I have NEVER had any issues with repairs this shop does. I’ve had full hatchbacks replaced, fresh paint, and aftermarket modifications removed/re-installed with absolutely zero issues. No flaky paint. No improper installs. No false advertisement. And you’ll get your car back vacuumed and bathed.
I will always recommend Gerber!

Date kept changing but great communication and it was finished before the estimated date in the long run. They even cleaned the inside so nice surprise.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Dealing with this business has been nothing less than frustrating. I was in an accident in May, where my car was not in terrible condition and air bags did not deploy. I was told by insurance to go in immediately and get a quote. I brought the car to Gerber per State Farm’s listed places in my area two days after the accident. They gave me a small quote and said they can’t get me in until June. I brought in the car in June and they proceeded to hold onto the car until late September when they suddenly totaled the car. I told them we were coming to get the car and then they were surprised when we showed up to take our car home. I brought my car to another shop (Mike’s Custom) and he is able to fix it for half of the price that Gerber quoted. Now my car will not be totaled and insurance will cover it. Save you time, money and the chance of losing your car and choose somewhere else.

They had my Toyota for 2 weeks and a couple days. They did an amazing job repairing the dents, scratches and replacing the window. I would go back to them.

I really try not to give poor reviews, but this one is exceptional. We did have my wife's car repaired here a few months back. We were referred to them by our insurance company, so as to make the process easier we went here. They promised a repair timeline. We get that parts are delayed, etc, but not by three times the estimate. I basically had to beg to get my wife's car back because we could no longer afford to pay the rental car nor were they willing to help offset that cost. They finally got the car back almost two full months after it was promised.RESPONSE...YES. Last name is the same, 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe - White. If your manager wants to call me, it's the phone number is on the invoice. Additionally I went by this week to have my car looked at because our neighbor inadvertently backed into it. I overheard your receptionist telling people on the phone that you couldn't get them an estimate until late November, 3 weeks out, and that you would not do a quote without an insurance assignment. She also mentioned that you were no longer accepting cash pay because you didn't have to because you were busy enough without them, and you could not turn down insurance. You might want to be careful what your customers over hear...

The staff at Gerber were very helpful after my car accident. Melanie went out of her way to retrieve a personal item of high sentimental value for me from my car. I can not speak to body work per se as my car was totaled.

I got my car from carvana and they use them so I had to take it yo them it took them almost 3 months to get it in then they got it in was told it was a 3 hour job and right before they closed that day I called because I took it at 930 in the morning and didn't here anything and they told me they were sent the wrong part and they would have it the next morning well that ended up not being the case and was call and was told that day they still didn't get it yesterday was finally call and was told after 3 days they had it and was told it was done and now they just told me my brand new tires that I just put on it and payed over 400 dollars for one of them was flat so they were fixing it and I asked how it was flat and was told they must of ran over a nail or something like why do they just have screws or nails just laying around like that everything cost to much for other people to mess up if I have to use carvana again to get my car fixed won't go back to them

First, the work they did was awesome. There was not a lot of damage to my car they painted and replaced the panel on my car like pros. To get them to do the work was the hard part. I dropped off my car, and they had it for most of a week, then gave it back to me because they did not have enough people to do the work they had. Then, when u dropped my car back a month later, the part they had when I dropped off my car the first time was damaged and not usable. Not their fault. It was damaged, their fault they didn't know it was damaged until they had my car. I got a phone call 3 days after I dropped off my car telling me it was going to be 2 more days. Like I said, it's great work not great, execution. Would still use them. Justdon't make plans on having your car when you want it.
