This is my second review for Jim and Dave’s Appliances. My previous review was from five years ago. Based upon this experience I called Jim and Dave to help me out again. A couple weeks ago both our electric and gas oven failed on the same day. Nik came out last week and quickly diagnosed the problem. He needed to order a part for our gas oven, but he was able to repair the electric oven that day. The part for the gas oven came in twice as fast as promised, and today Nik finished installing the part. In both my experiences with Jim and Dave’s the technicians were prompt, friendly, and efficient. If you need assistance with a home appliance, I couldn’t recommend Jim and Dave’s Appliances more highly.2018 Review:I called Jim and Dave to service three appliances. Brad came out and took care of the issues with my dryer and washer in short order. He then delivered the bad news about our fridge. The compressor was out. The repair was going to be $700. He gave me a couple days to consider what I wanted to do. I gave him the go ahead to order the part. He did. He then came out a few days later to install the compressor. Shortly after he began work he came to me and asked, "How you would feel about saving some money?" He informed me that it looked like the compressor wasn't bad, but it appeared to be a switch which would cost $125 (not $700). Since this was Friday he wanted to let the fridge run through the weekend to make sure that the problem was indeed the switch (He didn't even charge me for this visit). He called Friday afternoon to see how the fridge was working and then followed up Monday morning as well. Turns out it was indeed the switch. Brad could've installed the compressor he ordered and I would've been none the wiser. Looking out for the customer this way and testing the switch on a lark turned out to be huge win for me! This kind of regard for the best interests of the customer as well as the timely follow up speaks volumes about Brad as a tech, and Jim and Dave's Appliances as an organization. What a great experience. Thank you.

We started using Jim & Dave's recently at the property management company I work for. We have received great feedback from all the tenants who we have sent them out for. They are very quick and responsive. Very happy with the service we have received.

Stupid salesman parlor tricks - Called these guys up and they would not allow me to send them a picture or video of my visibly damaged fridge to get a quote. Instead, they insisted that they’d NEED to send a guy over to look at it and that alone would cost me $115 for them to knock on my door and tell me it’s broken ? This didn’t include actual repairs. Get with the 21st century pls. I shudder to think what the final bill would’ve been if I had actually had them come over, when they are already trying to run up the bill by the first contact. Why would I pay for a quote on damage that is already clearly broken? I need an appliance repair service, not a quote service. I don’t need someone to tell me it’s broken, I need someone to fix it.? Ended up fixing it myself, thanks for nothing ???

After $350 and 3 visits my oven is still not functioning correctly. Called in about the oven still running at the wrong temp and was told I would be charged another $90 fee for a tech to come out. We've used them previously and had good service but we won't be using them again if this is how they do business.Service: Oven repair

I tried using this business. I needed help with a stove repair. Stay away thay can't help! They just Want to weasel money out of people! They can't tell you anything with out a Expensive service call! I already new What's wrong with my stove I just needed quotes on pricing And they refused to help! Don't waste your time and money theirs lot's of better repair companies out there!!!

I tried to use jim and Dave's appliance repair company in Greeley they just wanted to weasel money out of me to send a guy for a service call just so they can tell me what I already know is wrong with my appliances that's how they make their money the heating element was going out on the bottom of my stove I called them for information to find out what it would cost for the heating element and to be fixed they refused to tell me anything they said they have to send somebody out to take a look and it's going to cost me buyer beware stay away from Jim and Dave's Appliance repair stores

Korey from Jim & Dave’s Appliance came out last week and repaired our washing machine. He had the necessary new part, replaced the old one, checked to make sure the machine was working properly, and set it to the clean cycle. The tech called me at 8 am and he said he'd be to my house between 1 and 3 . He was there by 1:15 or so and knew right away what the problem with our microwave was. The tech Bill was awesome. I would recommend Jim and Dave's to my friends and family. Problem fixed less then 24 hours after I called the office. Thank you.

I had to have them come out to replace a heating element. The first man also noticed the door gasket was bad and also needed replaced. He ordered the part and the company came back at a later date to replace those two things. After he left I had opened the oven door and when I closed it the outer glass door panel fell off (Because the adhesive was no longer sticky.)That’s when all the problems began with this company. They said they could not come back out until after Christmas two weeks later. I told them that I needed it done before then because I need to use my oven on Christmas Day. I had to go above the dispatcher and she seem unhappy with that but was able to find an opening for me. I was extremely grateful. Then she sent a new guy that told me he had only been with the company about a month and had to keep calling the company back for instructions on how to proceed. He didn’t seem to know what he was doing. I asked about the adhesive because that looked like where the problem was and he said he didn’t have any in his truck. Then after he got off the phone with his boss or whoever, said the strip that the adhesive attached to needed to be replaced. I cleaned the strip and found NOTHING WRONG with it. It just needs new adhesive applied. Now they are refusing to fix it claiming I need a new stove because the parts are no longer available. There are NO parts that need to be replaced. JUST PUT ON NEW ADHESIVE. I’m no repairman but even I can see that. The woman that answers the phone wanted to argue with me because I disagreed with the technicians notes and will not come back out to fix the issue. They should have sent out the first tech that came. He knew what he was doing.Service: Stove, cooktop & oven repair

Waited months for our Monogram luxury refrigerator doors to arrive after being delivered damaged (thru Mile High Appliance), JND appliance service did the re-install. Three very large shipping boxes along with service tools were laid on our new home's wood floors and stone counter without protective material. More frustrating the company refused to take away the boxes, trash and old doors, their office concurred that was their policy. Hard for me to understand that poor attitude.......guess I have to arrange a truck to haul everything to the dump.

After a failed attempt scheduling with another company, Jim and Dave's Appliance was able to get me on the schedule in just a week. Korey is one of the best technicians I've worked with in a long time. He was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Will definitely be my first call for any future appliance issues in the future.Service: Washer/dryer repair
