In February, our gas alarm went off, prompting a visit from an Xcel Energy technician. They pinpointed a potential issue with our double oven linked to the stove's operation and recommended we consult an appliance expert. We chose Mr. Appliance for the job. Their initial diagnosis led to replacing the igniter in the upper oven for $266. However, shortly after their visit, turning on both ovens triggered the gas alarm again. Mr. Appliance returned to install another igniter in the lower oven, but the problem persisted. Their technician admitted uncertainty if the new igniters failed to resolve the issue, and oddly suggested we should replace our lethal gas alert alarms. Following their advice, we invested in new alarms, which continued to sound off, indicating the unresolved gas leak whenever turning on our oven. After informing Mr. Appliance of the ongoing issue, we requested a refund to seek help elsewhere. They promised to escalate the matter to a service manager and utilize "every resource" to solve the problem--leaving us puzzled why this level of intervention wasn't employed after the initial failure. Adding to our frustration, they recommended we "open a window" when using the oven as a temporary fix until they could address the issue more thoroughly. Ultimately, they refused a refund, insisting on another attempt to fix the issue without acknowledging the over $500 already spent, plus an additional $100 investment for new alarms and other gas detection tools. I caution anyone considering Mr. Appliance, particularly if your issue is as serious as a gas leak. Expectations of basic safety standards were not only unmet but were accompanied by band-aid/dangerous solutions like keeping windows open as a fix. This has been a disappointing and costly experience. Proceed with caution.

David, the technician, provided great communication prior to my scheduled appointment, he arrived early, and was super helpful. He was professional and walked me through the issue and solution. I would definitely use Mr. appliance again!

We have an Amana refrigerator that is 15 plus years old in the garage. It started having frost in the freezer and the fridge part wasn’t as cold. So Daniel came out from Mr Appliance. He diagnosed the issues saying that he couldn’t be quite sure until parts were there to install. Parts were ordered and arrived quickly. The company counted the initial visit cost - I think it was $139 - toward the cost of coming back out. Anyway to make a long story longer… Daniel came with all of the parts and refunded back over $200 for things he determined we did not need. Now that is honest work!! Daniel is as honest as the day is long. I would call him for any repair!! Well done!! Hmmm do you think he could fix my car???

Daniel was very helpful on a warranty nightmare at our house. We have had Mr Appliance over at least 4 times over the past year trying to fix a coffee maker. All the other techs gave it their best shot but did not have the experience to fix it on the 1st try which was very frustrating. Daniel had plenty of experience to hopefully solve our problem I would have given him 5 stars except the scheduling process and time windows is super frustrating. There is never a complaint with to much communication.

We called first thing on a Monday morning for a broken ice machine in our freezer. They had someone out that afternoon and Justin was amazing! He was kind, courteous, knowledgeable and the quality of service was top notch! Our issue was resolved and we found our new go-to appliance repair company. My Mom was at our house at that time and was equally impressed by the service and also requested a business card. We will definitely be spreading the word about this amazing company! Thanks, Justin!!
