**WARNING** For anyone who has never had a dog groomed before... like me. When you book an appointment at this store, the time you choose is NOT when they will be working with your dog. I had a 10am appointment for my 5 month old puppy for a bath and nail clipping. I had no idea they were going to take him to a back room and crate him, right next to a very loud machine that was used for either drying or vacuum hair cutting? Anyway... I dropped my little guy off, and they told me it would be 2 to 3 hours. I was concerned, and mentioned that he was just getting a bath, and nails clipped... They did not respond. The staff was unfriendly, and seemed to have issues with just communicating with me. I reluctantly left though, and they called me about an hour and a half after I left, and told me that they could not get my puppy out of the crate, and I needed to come and get him. When I got there they had me come to the back room to coax him out, and the WHOLE time I was trying to get him out they were running this crazy, loud machine 6 feet away. DUH! Obviously they are not very tuned into dogs at all, or know what scares them. These folks are super impersonal, and lacking normal pet empathy or understanding. Yeah, yeah.... I stopped and got some puppy shampoo on the way home!

Poor quality electric water bowl. I looked up the brands in the store, and the ratings were poor.

Zebra finches I bought little over a year ago are all sick or dead. The mills they get these birds from are not healthy places and they certainly don’t treat the birds much better when they arrive in store. cramped conditions lead to unsociable birds that will hurt each other once you bring them home if they don’t end up getting sick on their own. this company needs to rethink having the word smart in the name. it’s kind of dumb and cost me a lot in vet trips, and mental well-being. not animals you want in your home.

We use them to groom our dog, and they do a great job for a relatively low price.

Wow! Jesse did an amazing job grooming my dog, Max! He is a pomeranian with a very thick and challenging coat to work with. Max has never looked better! Will definitely be coming back to see Jesse again! She deserves a raise!

By far the friendliest Petsmart employees! They always greet you when you walk in and throughout the store. The groomers, especially Kati, always does a great job on our golden doodle! Thank you!

I was very unhappy with my dogs last visit to the groomer. She’s always been an “express” breed that they but they own definition is a breed that needs to be in and out quickly out of fear of their breathing and getting worked up. But this time around “they changed the rules on express” and my dog somehow her breed no longer qualifies for that. My dog got worked up and threw up 2 times and was unable to finish trimming her nails. I still had to pay for the nail trim even though it wasn’t completed. On my way out they said if she needs to be express in the future they can but I’ll have to pay more. So her breed was magically taken off the express list but now can get express service if I pay more. I will not be going back here. The service has gone way down the last few times and this was the final straw. I hope people read this and consider taking their pets somewhere where they are valued not just if you pay more.

They have what I need and the store is fine. The thing that I don't like about this store is, most of the people that work then register are like robots. Iam literally at that store once a week and the people act like they have never seen me before every time. One girl.literally asks me the exact same questions every time I check out with her like it's the first time she's ever seen me. I mean I get that they probably see a lot of people, but when someone is literally there once a week, you'd think they would remember. I have a bad memory and I remember people I seen over and over. I don't know if this is just how this store prefers their employees to act, or if this is just how people are these days.

Always so unpleasant anymore. They should probably be paid more or something

They have chinchillas that they don't care for. Paper bedding, plastic and cloth materials that they can chew leads to their dearh eventually. Plastic is highly toxic to them and paper bedding and cloth gets stuck in their intestines. The fact that petsmart isn't educated on these exotic pets and probably gets them from unethical breeders. Management won't do anything to change this!

This is our great establishment to find a lot of unique foods for pets. We used to buy in bulk and would only make a few trips here and there with our older senior dog, but now that we have a puppy we are going at least once a week. I would highly recommend in the coupon book for $20 because we have probably saved over $200 so far with it savings. We've also taken our new husky puppy to groomed and she came out absolutely perfect and the stylist loved every minute. She is definitely a social dog.
