Absolutely terrible company to work with. I think the owner might be on drugs. I had him out to the house on different occasions and he seemed like a different guy each time. Not very professional, seems kind of dirty and covered in tattoos. I don't think it is a very good look to be covered in ink when you are trying to be a professional company. That's just my opinion. When they did come out, seemed very agitated and nervous. Had a sprinkler repairman out and he had NO idea what he was doing, charged me an arm and a leg and I ended up calling another company that told me that this company has a reputation in the industry for terrible work. I believe it. I am so glad I didn't accept their work, my neighbor down the street did and they were put the through the ringer. Dodged a bullet. If you are serious about having a professional company out, then try a different one.

Royal Turf has been servicing our sprinkler system for about 20 years and has always provided great service. The few times there have been problems, they have always been corrected. Everyone who has come to work on our system has been professional.

I struggle a little with this review. Rob was great, just made a mistake. Ben was great, who corrected the error (* see below). It is Lisa, the receptionist that was very rude. I called Royal Turf after they already blew out my sprinkler system - as my sprinkler backflow was leaking. I knew this was abnormal. I received at VM from Patty stating that Rob could come out that day. I called back and got Lisa, and I requested that a different tech come out. That was no problem, said they could get Ben out that day; However, Lisa acted like I was putting her out, while I was trying not to have major plumbing issues this winter. I literally said to her, while she is yelling at me - "this is your fault, why are you yelling at me?" She yelled, "I AM NOT YELLING AT YOU." All I could do was laugh. Ummm, OK. Just edgy and prickly. Company did send someone that day. Ben said she deals with lots of people trying to get free things - I have empathy, but I am not exactly sure what "free" things I would be trying to get. Ben stated, had he not fixed the issue, I would have had serious issues this winter. SO thanks, Lisa. The least you could do is make me a homemade Italian dish.All customers should be aware that they will charge you $15.00 if you asked to be billed, which no one orally told me about.Update: Had someone working on my furnace today and he stated that there is a "steady stream of water coming out of the drip leg" - the same pipe/water shut off valve that Ben came by to rectify last night. I have called Royal Turf back and will post an update on how it goes.Update 2: Ben came out again. There was literally a steady stream of water coming out of the shut off valve - and a huge puddle of water on my crawlspace concrete/dirt. Ben apologized profusely. I appreciate someone that owns up to their errors and that is not lost on me. That being said, from 10/12 thru 10/16 it was as if I turned on a faucet and let it run 24 hours a day. That water bill is going to be so expensive for me and the company has not offered to refund me for their error. What about my concrete damage? In the end, it will at least cost me double if not substantially more for using this company. All the other companies I have utilized over the past 5 years did not present with this issue. You ought to refund me.

We have been using Royal Turf since we moved to Colorado 5 years ago.Harley met and exceeded what we have come to expect over the years.Before I retired and moved, I operated a trucking company and my employees were the only people my customers would ever meet so I needed to be sure that I hired only drivers that would present themselves and my company in a good light.Harley would have been a great addition to my company.Service: Irrigation system repair & maintenance

After scheduling my winter blow out for 4pm I got an email that confirmed this time, within seconds got a 2nd email that the appointment was rescheduled to between 3-5pm and then got a reminder that it was 3pm. Called them numerous times asking for a call ahead, because I had a work appoint in town and eventually a rude lady (Lisa) called me back, who made a big deal out of my simple question and blamed me for the 'reschedule'. Needless to say that we moved on to a friendlier, more reliable company and not what you expect from a company that has a lot of competitors.=============================UPDATE AFTER RESPONSE FROM OWNER: How many lies can you put in one sentence?- I didn't reschedule or approved a reschedule- I was not asking for anything complex or specific, just a heads up call whenever your tech was coming my way to avoid that he showed up while I was out at a job.- The first time I called after the reschedule I got an answering machine, you never called back and never confirmed the call ahead. I have never spoken to you in my life, what on earth are you talking about with 'we told you we would call ahead the first time you called'???- I didn't hang up... YOU did, while I was asking to never be contacted again by Royal Turf, which you obviously didn't hear and therefore I followed up with an email and opted-out.Mind boggling that companies like yours survive. Unbelievable dishonest.

We've used Royal turf for several sprinkler issues and they've always been just great. They return phone calls, arrive when they say they will, and they do quality work at reasonable prices. We won't use anyone else.
