The guy at the deli counter handled my cheese without gloves. The manager said he couldn't re-cut it and he couldn't tell the deli to wear gloves. That's nasty. I'll definitely go elsewhere.

I know there are "sketchy" people frequently outside this store. I've never had any bad experiences with any one. The store is a smaller Safeway which I like usually. I don't have to wander through clothes aisles or plants to find what I want. It can be out of things if you're there close to the end of the week. The checkers are usually efficient. It's perfect for a downtown store.

My experience was less than satisfactory. The man at the deli made me wait & then gave me very chincy skimpy portions...I also noticed this location being skimpy in the bakery department as well. Yes customers will notice & no I'm not a bigger person😬 Overall I can see why many folks don't shop here anymore with ridiculous prices for what you'll receive in return. I'd say drive the extra few miles to a better store.

Usually not as busy as the other grocery stores. Well kept and stocked.

Cashier Jennifer is wonderful!
My 'rotisserie' leaked all over the 'belt', and did she complain?
No! She quickly made an embarrassing situation, a pleasant one
With a smile she 'remedied' the 'issue', with kind words in a very pleasant manner
My first visit to her store, was made 'memorable'
Thank you Jennifer!
I am wishing you and your family a safe, and enjoyable holiday season
Best regards,
Mike McKeen

I was a regular at this store. Not anymore. They never have their shelves stocked. No butcher on-site. I bought their deli chicken a week ago and my family got food poisoning that lasted 4 days. Not to mention the guy working in the deli was extremely rude and should not be working there. This store is in desperate need of self check outs and a second access point. They have a second door but it has been locked for years. They say it is due to theft but the west side store has 2 operational doors. It's bullshit when the parking lot is full and people with injuries have to park on that east side and be in pain and walk that far. There is no compassion for customers in this regard. They are worried more about their "shrink" numbers. Customers should always be first.
This store should just be closed.
I'm done with it.

The store staying open is a struggle

It's a little bit smaller than your normal Safeway. There isn't any self checkout and you can't use the second set of doors for whatever reason. But it has basically your general items a grocery store would have. The employees are nice enough. And the manager is cool. The red headed one. Other than that there is a downside of course the location isn't the best but it is the only store on this side of town besides natural grocer's.

I moved to Loveland CO from Firestone in August. Due to proximity, I was used to shopping mostly at King Soopers. In Loveland, KS is directly across the street from me, and I was sorely disappointed by the lack of organization, lack of a main directory (imagine!), store staff lack of knowledge of product location (Hello, KS, get some directories put up and it won’t matter if the staff are ill informed) and lack of a good floor plan.
I searched for a Safeway. The first one I found was on the wrong side (for me) of a major construction project. I selected the one located at 860 Cleveland Avenue. I was a little put off by the bland outside appearance. HOWEVER, I thought I was in heaven when I saw the inside!
Early in the day (before the shoppers start moving items, the store looks as if the staff worked all night stocking and straightening shelves so that each product faced the aisle. Every team member I met was friendly and eager to help. I was able to choose products I can’t find at other stores—Lucerne mild cheddar slices, Dasani water cases in 24 count (I am a strong woman but I prefer NOT fighting with the 36-count cases at KS). I find Safeway’s Signature Select white bread to be tastier and more consistently fresh than the store brand at KS.
I asked to speak to the manager, passing along my compliments. Martha thanked me and conveyed how much she loves her store on Cleveland Avenue and the quality of the staff.
Thanks, Martha!

I shopped here for years but don't live near anymore. Not the nicest store but necessary to the locals.

I’ve been going to this Safeway for years and I must say I miss the old employees. The new employees are very unfriendly 😡
