I would give Jakes Farm U-Haul negative stars if I could.This is, by far, the WORST U-Haul dealer I have ever dealt with. And we rent from U-Haul alot. The lot was a muddy mess. The "office" was a freezing farm stand filled with junk, a broken motorcycle being repaired, ashtray overloaded with cigarette butts on the desk.... The worst part of was the couple running it. It took 40 minutes to get the keys for the truck. We had to wait for them to fire up their antique computer. They don't know how to work the U-Haul software, so that took forever.Upon checking in, we asked them to use a different credit card. They stated they couldn't. Which isn't true, they just didn't know how or bother to reach out for help. After calling U-Haul customer service, they informed me that it COULD be sorted out, but had to be done by Jakes Farm. We were already on the road and attempted to call them. No working number to reach them. One number listed was disconnected, the other rolled right into voicemail and of course the mailbox was full.Completely unprofessional.So consequently, it took days and dozens of phonecalls to get it sorted out. Which eventually, the regional mgr was able to do, which was great.However, this place is not indicative of U-Haul's standards and should not be allowed to serve as a U-Haul dealer. There are plenty of others in the area. Stay clear of Jakes Farm...

Other than the vehicle being just a little dirty (acceptable but annoying given the dependence on my saying so before rental), my BIG problem is with the app. Using the app for the first time (it was my only option to rent from this locaton), was the most annoying and frustrating problem I have ever experienced renting anything, anywhere. When I logged into the app at the site to pick up the vehicle (I had already downloaded the app, and logged-in while at home) I was asked to authorize location sharing which I did. The app kept failing in the process to pick the vehicle. Being a relative savvy techy, I decided to check other permissions for the app on my Samsung Galaxy phone. When I turned on permission for camera & files, all finally went well, but it ook over 30 minutes of trial & error to get there. The app needs A LOT of work!

I would tell you about their actual service, but when I call the number, I get redirected to another number. It doesn't ring and "the mailbox is full."

Can't speak to this facility, but do not use Uhaul, they will steal from you and then tell you to get f*cked when you dispute it.
