Wonderful find. Beautiful Art and very talented Artists here at this Co-op! They take turns working there. They all showcase their art they're together. It's a great local place. And a great way to support local artists. My mother-in-law loves her gift from here, so there's that!

I want to say this place is quaint & charming with reasonably priced local art. I want to say the art was unique & well crafted. I want to support local artists. However, when a customer is ignored... very poor business practice. I worked in a similar gallery for 18 years. Rule #1 in retail, acknowledge every person who walks through the door. Here’s how is works, the employee or volunteer on staff says one of the following: “hello” “welcome” “let me know if I can help you or answer any questions” Not one word of acknowledgement from the 3 artists working at the store that day. It is unfortunate that I would not recommend this business, window shop instead .

We visited on February 8th. The artist who greeted us was delightfully engaging. We followed her recommendations for flat white and Carvers in Durango. All of the art work and craft work is so diverse, just beautiful.

Have been in Mancos at the Absolute Bakery countless times and the Artisans is very near by but we never stopped. This time, the bakery was packed to the gills so we had to wait. To pass the time we went into the Artisans of Mancos. Can't believe we have been missing this. Lots of variety of art. Some high end and some more like crafts. My favorite pieces were these little beaded bracelets and they came with a lovely colored box or cloth bag; they were made nearby on the artist's cattle ranch. Makes me smile every time I wear it.

It's always a great experience to visit this shop and see the talent in an area of SW Colorado. I had the pleasure of meeting one of my favorite artisans, Jan Wright while I was purchasing a couple of her prints.
