The owner is very knowledgeable. We enjoyed visiting and sharing history of items in the store. She has old and new. Pottery, baskets, rugs, Kachina dolls, jewelry and more. Nicely displayed with soft music. We actually arrived before posted hours but were welcomed anyway.

I feel like I have been to every boutique in the southwest but the quality of the pieces ,the knowledge that Kelly has amassed for the art cannot be matched. I walked in her shop one day on a whim and she left me feeling like I knew her my entire life. I wasn’t able to decide on what piece I wanted the moment I walked in but I took a variety of photos and purchased a necklace that I felt was the best fit for my collection. Kelly knows every single artist and the history behind the piece. I truly value her opinion and her knowledge about the art. She can tell you what mine the stones came from or how the family history of the weavers. I could spend everyday with her just to soak up her stories and her knowledge. I’m grateful I found such a special place. Thank you Kelly.

Our last day in the Four Corners region was spent in this very historic small mountain town. Having spent our time during the past week enveloped by the Navajo culture, our visit to this gallery couldn't have been more well timed. Housed in one of the town's oldest buildings, it has been beautifully. yet simply and amply stocked with the product it represents. Well-lighted and ventilated for its customers/visitors and the vast and nicely displayed antiques, collectibles and contemporary treasures, the space has been very professionally adapted for use by its proprietor, a well-known collector, entrepreneur, businessperson and appraiser. An impressive display of woven and clay items from several centuries, jewelry, paintings, etc. are for the serious collector to the newly serious devotee of truly genuine Navajo and Hopi art and skill. Prices range from the expected contemporary costs to what one would imagine antiquities bring on the open market. Ms. Kilgore graciously gave us some time to discuss her own background and interests as related to the gallery, as well as info which further added to the fullness of our trip. Whether one is looking to buy, to be educated, or to be able to say that they were privileged to visit the gallery, they can easily find their way here, traveling east or west on Hwy. 160 between Durango and Cortez - a short visit away from Mesa Verde Park.
