Could not find this gas station. The road was closed and the park ranger told me there was no gas station here.
Is this real? In any case, we had to drive out of the park. This listing seems to be a misrepresentation

85 octane is only gasoline grade available. Cards only. No attendant. No receipts. See picture for note on pump. *Edit: the above was not a problem at all just making sure expectations are set.

Google got the location wrong! This is actually at the Mordield campground on your way into the park- NOT next to the Far View lodge.

The only gas station within Mesa Verde National Park staffed by very helpful concessionaire Sinclair gas attendants. You may pay a few cents more per gallon but its nice having the peace of mind knowing your not going to run out of gas in the park.

This gas station is on a self serve basis. The pumps work with credit cards only and if you need anything else for your vehicle, go to the general store. Unleaded is currently $3.55 Too, this station is open until 25 October 2018 when Mesa Verde closes until spring.

Not as bad as you would think. Gas was only about 10 cents/gallon more than Cortez, which on a 20 gallon tank is only $2. Considering how far from everything you are and how much driving there is, it's great to know it's here.
