My wife and I enjoyed our stay. It's very centrally located to walk through town to shop and eat. It's an older building so our bathroom, although it was private, was separate from our bedroom so in night time we had to walk down the hall to get to the bathroom. The staff was very nice.

Offered two glasses of wine when we arrived, fresh baked cookies waiting on a dish while we waited to check in, helped carried bags to our room, very friendly hosts, awesome location to downtown, recommendation to see an art show down the street that was fantastic, to-go breakfast and coffee waiting for us on early check-out, and helped carry bags out to car. Fantastic service!

This place is lovely! The first thing we noticed was how gorgeous the landscaping is, and then we were greeted by a very nice lady who showed us our room and gave us a tour of where everything is. We got the Canon Room and it was beautiful! It has a large bathroom and main room with a (very cozy) king bed, as well as a sitting room with a large window with spectacular views of the mountains and Manitou. We also got the romantic package, so we had a nice bottle of Merlot as well as a platter of cheeses and fruits and crackers waiting on us, in addition to candles and rose petals around the room. It was beautiful, and made it extra special! We were there two nights so we got to experience breakfast twice, and it was absolutely delicious both times. We ate at a table outside and it was a very relaxing start to the morning.

We spent 3 nights for our anniversary, we should have stayed longer. Room was spacious, clean and had a great view of 3 sides of the property. We did the wine and meat tray with rose pedals the first night as a surprise for my wife, and we ended up getting the wine and meat tray every day we stayed as it was delicious. The home is huge, breakfast was plentiful and very well made, and the hosts were the absolute best. Second night we did the couples massage and was very glad we did, such a relaxing way to end your day. Manitou Springs is an amazing town and this B&B is smack dab in a prime location without it having alot of noise all day and night. We will be back again later this year

Driving for hours through the mountains till we were too exhausted, we hastily searched online for a hotel to rest for the night, and found a listing online for this unique little antique gem B&B nestled right by the Garden of the Gods, Avenue Hotel Bed and Breakfast.Charming and tucked in the middle of the neighboring village to its mountain Gods, this historical little cottage style bed and breakfast was one of the best experiences we'd had visiting Colorado state!Lightly and carefully renovated to modernize the needs of the facility, the building has been kept up very well; you can tell a lot of love has gone into maintaining it. The room we stayed in was equipped with an antique claw-foot bathtub, a bed sized and styled for royalty, and an electric heating furnace designed to look like a fireplace. Additionally, the mountain's mineral water felt absolutely amazing to this city-dweller! The water feels so soft and pure to bathe in, I never knew the difference could be so pronounced! To add to the place's beauty, deep, tonal wind chimes clinked their binaural melodies against strong wind gusts we had that evening, adding yet another layer of charm to the place. The entire feel of the place is best described as "cozy & charming".For breakfast the next day, two large dining tables were positioned in diagonally opposite rooms from one another, where the occupants of two rooms were seated opposite each another at each table; offering such a family-like vibe. The personal charms of having the owners of the B&B home-cook and serve a delicious and healthy breakfast and join each table to engage in conversation and tell the building's history was lovely; an experience I absolutely adored. This place is run by such kind people, and it is extremely well maintained. I very much plan to revisit here, if ever in southern Colorado again, and anybody headed that way I'll be sure to highly recommend this place to!

We had a very easy process. Check-in was very easy. The staff is friendly. the room was awesome. We had they stay in the carriage house which had a bedroom a parlor a bathroom and a kitchen. I would definitely stay at this place again. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. I wish they offered a little earlier breakfast time. Over all a great place.

We stayed in the Midland room. The bed is incredibly comfortable, with super soft sheets and fluffy pillows. The inn keepers and owners were lovely, and most importantly to me, they were able to accommodate my dietary needs (no nuts, gluten, or dairy). I don't know how they managed to make my breakfasts so yummy (and pretty!) with those restrictions, but they did!

The innkeepers were very welcoming and the B&B was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was also delicious! The location is perfect too if you want to do several days exploring Garden of the Gods, Pike's Peak, Red Rock Canyon, and the town of Manitou Springs.

Excellent stay. At our amazing breakfast we couldn't believe how many people were there because it had been so quiet. Excellent food and service. Walking distance to everything. Picture is my view from our room.

Avenue B&B is a great place to stay. We had the Manitou Suite and I recommend it highly. The Manitou asuite consists of two large rooms and has windows in three sides of the building. It is perfect for a couple-one partner can sleep while the other reads or watches TV.Overall the B&B is wonderful. Everything is clean and neat, and we had no issues at all. The breakfast is fantastic, I can not recommend it enough. The hosts are friendly and kind, but are also great at giving you your space if you want it. The location literally could not be better-you can easily walk anywhere in town.I think the price is more than fair for what you get. We will stay here every time we come to Manitou Springs in the future. Highly recommended.

This was an unplanned stop for us that turned out great. I had been wanting to stay at a B&B and finally had the opportunity. This place did not disappoint. It's location is perfect for walking to shops and restaurants. We stayed in the Pike's Peak room which had it's own private bathroom just across the hall. I liked that they utilized a keyless entry with keypads that were programmed with individualized codes. The hot tub was a nice bonus. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was nice. Very happy that we chose this last minute stop on our trip.

Great location, and wonderful staff! Breakfast is really good, and the room was so comfortable. Will definitely stay here again! The room I stayed in faced the main street and on weekends there is SOME noise at night, but bring a Dohm or iPhone app for white noise, and you’re good. And most rooms probably don’t have any noise- mine was just on the east side by the library, and caught some of the noise from the street. Not bad at all just something to prepare for.

The house itself is beautiful, and near everything in walking distance. My husband and I checked out a room spur of the moment, to have a very needed mini getaway. The outside is beautiful! When we arrived to our room, we noticed ear plugs on the nightstand. We soon realized the air conditioner was extremely loud. It can easily be fixed if they wanted to. The bathtub had a constant leak. The room had a musty smell, and they don't have a blue ray player in the room we stayed in, so only certain movies worked. The man that was a host was not very welcoming. When we sat down for breakfast (we were the first ones down so took first pick on where to sit,) he asked us to move seats to accommodate the married couples. My husband and I are definitely married and were wearing our rings. That was very offputting, but we didn't want to make a scene, so we just looked at each other, and adjusted ourselves. The breakfast was decent, but the lack of manners was something that would not have us ever return or reccomend this place.
