Some of these people are awkward and not nice. It’s like you’ve got to go in when the nice person is working and not when the mean people are working. Like I’m just tying to send a package bro you don’t have to be condescending and mean.it might be worth the drive to go somewhere else

I moved to Mead in late 2023, and I've been so impressed by the Mead Post Office and its staff. I came from a nearby community with a ... less than stellar PO. Mead has been friendly, fast, and helpful--I wish I'd started coming up here from the other PO before I moved! They're great!

Old guy up front now a days is completely rude. They don’t have boxes in stock and now when you bring something in and he doesn’t like the box he won’t ship it. What a joke. FedEx and UPS will gladly take my money. No surprise it has a 2.4 star rating.

For those reading the old reviews, please do not be swayed as the previous Postmaster has long gone. Rick and team have been fantastic in the two years I've been in Mead. Rick has been incredibly helpful and his team often go the extra mile. Be patient with the mail boxes, we all hate them! Recruiting and retaining staff is still a challenge for us all! Thanks Rick.

They are never open. I dropped a return package in there box after 5 visits to see if they were open. $150 worth of clothing lost. Ugh

Everyone at this location needs to be fired...specially the horrid, nasty Postmistress. I have never been treated so poorly at ANY business EVER.I will never return to that location and probably will never use USPS again. In 2 weeks I've had packages shredded on delivery, lost forever and 2 weeks to deliver a 3 day priority mail package.

Genuinely the worst post office that I have used, my packages are regularly damaged, lost, or put in my box late.

April Baumining, the postmaster is so unprofessional it’s unbelievable for our small town of Mead. She needs to be replaced soon. If your unfortunate enough to deal with her, be prepared for degrading attitude and overall poor disposition. I will be taking this to the highest level.

As a POBox holder my experience with customer service has improved a lot in the past 2 years and I haven't had any of my packages disappear anymore however twice in one week I have gotten someone elses mail, once with a street address and once with a PObox. Just frustrating because now I've had to go into the lobby where they require masks for all patrons, wich is fine, but then the employees arent always wearing them. Very hypocritical and just been lacking in the quality of service that had improved from the past two years.
