“Stopped in for a shower late in the evening after a week of hunting. Owner came from the Sheepdog Competition to get me hooked up. Super friendly lady. Shower room was clean. Clean towel, wash cloth, and a bar of soap was provided.”

“I was there in the early eighties, in my twenties with my mother, father and brother, and some family friends. We were some of the folks that came in the area for the Oil Shale projects in Rifle and Battlement Mesa.
What a wonderful time and an unspoiled, beautiful lake. I don't if it's still the same owners but they were wonderful back then, and sounds like they are still wonderful today. I hope to get back there before my days are over. Such a beautiful place!
I struggle to recall much other than the shear beauty of the area. It was rustic comfort back then but was great none-the-less. I have no bad memories of the area so the service must have been good.”
